    Best Color Printer

I've used several brands and models of workgroup printers over many years in my IT profession. Now that I'm retired and needed a new color printer, I chose this laser printer, partly due to the excellent reviews on web sites such as PCMag.com. I've also had a Brother B&W laser duplex printer for the past 10 years and it's been a reliable workhorse that continues to perform like day one. Unlike several other printer companies, Brother has done a great job of maintaining their driver software which is something a lot of folks don't think about when shopping for computer-connected devices. For example, I've had to recycle several Canon devices that were in great shape, but after only a few years, they ceased updating their drivers and when I upgraded my OS, the devices were rendered useless. The Brother HL-L8360CDW performs beautifully; creating amazing output very quickly. While supplies are pricy, the cost is far less per page than inkjet and you won't need to worry about ink drying up nor have to deal with the mess. If you want a reliable, fast, quality color printer, you can't do better than this one.

Other than trying to find the serial number on the unit for registration I had ZERO problems connecting and launching this printer. Fantastic output, duplexer works simply flawlessly, the unit is quiet, the cartridges that came with were not sparse and offered plenty of printing and the unit is half the size of the unit it replaced! Just delighted!!

Purchased as supplement an inkjet printer, and to reduce ink cartridge expenditures. Easy to set up. Only complaint is that paper manual included does not go over laser cartridge replacement or any general maintenance (which I haven't needed, yet). I understand this info is online, but something as eventually important as these issues, it should be more accessible to the consumer.

This is my first Laser printer and I am happy with it. I like knowing that over time, I'll save money on ink cartridges. The downside is that I do miss having a scanner with my printer.

I don't use this printer nearly as much as it it designed for. For my simple needs, this printer exceeds in all respects: fast, quiet, dependable.

This printer has been great! We've had very few issues with it and the ones we have had were simple fixes that I could do. My partner does a lot of printing for work, which is primarily what we use it for. We love the quality of the printer and the sharpness if the text or images when printed.

I recently bought the Brother HL-H8360CDW Color Laser Printer to replace my HL-3170CDW. The speed and output for the new printer is fantastic and performs way better than my previous one. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a color Laser printer.

Great print outs.... but it is too soon to make this Survey! You may need to email me a new survey in one year later because it may not be fair to give you any rating at this early stage of this recent purchase. The price is good, but the cartridges themselves are too expensive. I will have to find out in a year later.

NOT for Home Office - Needs to many AMPS

TO start, this review is not about this machines overall performance, as I have no idea how it "performs" when in actual use. I work from home, and my office set up is quite extensive. 4 monitors, desktop, notebook, tv. (I know this isn't a crazy setup either) All of this is shared on a standard home circuit of 15AMP wired per NC code. Home built in 2014. This printer needs 10AMPS to get started from a power off or sleep. Which means, if you are drawing 5+ amps any where else in the room, BOOM. Breaker flips. This is KNOWN issue with Brother. Their solution on the website is for a "FIRM WARE" replacement. Not a simple download and install, a complicated " w a l k y o u t h r o u g h i t" via telephone. Which, during COVID, means over TWO HOURS on the phone with tech support. So while on hold, I google'd more and found that although not recommended, replacing the 15AMP with a 20AMP may resolve this. SO faced with replacing a breaker at home and going against electrical advice, or just returning this beast, I chose to return. NOT for a standard home office. If you build a room in your home to handle massive electrical AMP usage, then this is for you. For those of us who just buy homes and leave stuff alone, not for us.

I bought this printer to replace my HP inkjet, which kind of expensive in the long run. The quality of the color document printed is high standard, and the quality laser color rendered for the document and picture is expected. I love this machine!

Very fast delivery, brought at store one day and delivered the next day at our house, and didn’t pay for delivery. Prints fast. Very easy set up. Colors are bright and the printing is clear on the pages.

Print quality is outstanding and it prints quickly if connected via cable to your computer. However the ability to print via WiFi/Bluetooth connection is very slow and often times out.

Printing is fast and easy; feeder works with no problems. Have not had to replace toner yet so cannot compare that to a previous model. Color copies are pretty close to original. FAX is quick and easy. Great machine!!

    Great Wireless Color Laser Printer

I gave this printer 4 stars only b/c I thought it was a copier as well, but it doesn’t really make a difference b/c I can scan a document to my phone and wirelessly print that document, so we don’t really need a copier. The colors are perfect and true to tone when printing in color, and b/c the printer is a laser printer, the colors won’t bleed. The difference is a laser printer heats colored powder and fuses it to the paper while ink jet printers use wet ink that can bleed if you don’t get the right type of ink. I think of it as a difference in waterproof vs non-waterproof mascara.
