The speed and output for the new printer is fantastic and performs way better than my previous one. Highly recommended for anyone who needs a color Laser printer.

You may need to email me a new survey in one year later because it may not be fair to give you any rating at this early stage of this recent purchase. The price is good, but the cartridges themselves are too expensive. I will have to find out in a year later.

It cannot connect to my wired LAN. Apparently, the issue is it cannot be detected by the router (a Verizon Quantum) to which the switch (Netgear GS 324) is connected. I have connected three other Brother printers, including a Brother HL-L5200DW, to this same network, without the slightest problem. Tech support at Brother is unable to help: they just say it needs to be connected "directly to the router" which, to me, says it's not a networkable printer. Not interested in connecting by WiFi.
