Also the replacement ink is expensive but I guess all color inks are these days.

This is the second one we purchased. This one is a present for my daughter. I love that it self cleans the printer heads so they don't get clogged

Brother MFC-J1205W printer

This product seemed to fit the bill. I'm not very computer literate so I was happy to find the utilities easy to download and set up. This printer is noisier than my previous model, but for the price I believe this model will take care of my printing, copying and scanning needs

I’d buy again

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never gives me issues or jams up, it never does random updates and wastes my ink but it does make random noises like it wants to print something without you prompting it too, this only ever happens once in a blue moon but never does so I’ve always just ignored it since it hasn’t ever effected anything. I used the original ink carts to get through one full semester in college before needing more. It’s so much better then any HP I’ve owned

Just print one sided printer

The thing I don't like about this printer is the way it two sided print if you have more than one page to double side print you have to manually flip each page. So just print one sided.

Was kind of annoying to set up to print from phone (iOS) and could have been faster setup to laptop (M2 air). Also has a print size button on it that I recommend not accidentally pressing. Overall feels snappy, solid and reliable.
