Since purchasing, I have printed so many pages, including full color ink pages and have alot of ink left. Definitely recommend this printer over any normal inkjet printer.
i purchased this printer because inkjet printers count the number of pages you print rather than how much ink you actually used. Even blank pages lower your ink levels.

My wife and I were looking for a simple home printer that met our needs, and we could print something without first going to another room to turn it on. We are very satisfied with this brother printer.
It was relatively easy to set up. Works well every time.
We like the feature, where we can be out of town and see something like a recipe or other info that we want to print out, we can sent it to our home printer from anywhere.
I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for this kind of printer.

Love my Brother printer. I used to always buy HP, but the last one died after a year, so decided to try another brand. This one is great for moderate home office use. Ink lasts just fine.

For the price this is an awesome tank printer. The quality for pictures is not great but it is not meant for that. Ink will last forever. I use this as my documents printer. And it is also a great back up for moments when your other printer is out of ink and you don't want to go buy some (came in handy for me) i love this printer.

So far, so good. We needed to replace a hope printer and scanner that was 10 years old. After reading reviews, I felt that this would be a good choice for our needs at home. It took a bit of time to do the initial set up but after that everything has worked ok. The family is happy to hit print and have a printer that actually works!

No LCD screen means interpreting blinking lights

When I purchased this printer I was mostly concerned with the cost of ink which is what drew me to this model. HOWEVER since having it I have realized that not having a LCD screen is a nightmare. Every time there is an error you have to look in the manual to find out what the combination of blinking vs. solid lights means. It is ridiculous! I have had this printer for 4 months and have only used it maybe 10 times. 9 out of those 10 times I had to figure out what all of the blinking light errors meant. I also ran out of ink after printing less than 5 times! Also, there is no app for your computer, you have to use their mobile app which is horrible. Only pro is the quality of the prints when the printer actually decides to work.

Bought for very limited use. As of now it’s exactly what we need. Print quality is perfect, can’t comment on color because haven’t used it. If the test print counts then color is great also. Scans quickly and legibly.

It's a good printer for what we use it for. It was very hard to set up but fortunately the Geek squad had to do it which I recommend. The free ink for a year with this printer was misleading and disappointing.

Good Price for an Everyday Printer

I needed a new, inexpensive printer for everyday use. I have a higher-end Epson for my art printing needs, but don't want to burn through ink on that one for printing documents, emails, etc. I liked the price of this printer and the "up to 1 year of ink" concept. I haven't been using it long enough to really judge the ink use (it sat in the box for a couple of months before I set it up), but it seems to be on track to give me about a year's worth.
It was easy to connect wirelessly to my Windows 10 PC, and the print quality is good. I was pleasantly surprised that it can handle card stock, although it sounds like it isn't too happy about it. The scanner is fine, I don't use it much, since I have another scanner for my artwork.
My only complaint is the paper tray, it needs a bit of finesse to remove & replace it. It doesn't dock very easily.
