1"sq. touchscreen, Really? totally terrible design
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give this 0 stars I would. The touch screen is 1" sq. No way to use it, especially no way to enter a # wi-fi pw! TI wasted 2 HOURS on the phone to Best Buy's Geek squad. Still couldn't get Wi-fi to work! I had to buy a USB cable bc Best Buy wouldn't take it back. To make matters worse, Brother's "support" is non-existent

Great For The Home Office
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm really pleased with thisprinter's speed and design. It's like the ones at the work office, but great for my hoome office. easy to setup on my pc, once the wifi is connected, of course. Unfortunately, I'm still having issues connecting it to my phone and chromebooks. Everything is in a place where it's pretty accessible from my pcanyway. So that's really not much of a problem. The toner cartriges are easy to install and it is said that they should last about a year , but that's rwith moderate use. Scanning is quick and easy as well. With easy to read desplay and very accessible button layout there isn't a problem getting things done. From printing to scanning and even faxing , you can get it done with this $149.99 USD home office printer. If it were just a little easier to connect my other devices(phone/chromebook) I would give this a 5 star rating. But you can't go wrong with this affordable machine thatalso makes it a snap to get ink delivered on time, simply by signing up for the program. I do recommend this printer for you home offive use.

Surprisingly good Multifunction Printer.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Surprised with Brother again. So I currently own their Laser Printer HL-L2360DW and have owned this for over 5 years now. Have gone through 2 toners and no problems yet. My old laser product has been discontinued BTW so that tells you how long I have had it. So this MFC-J4335DW has initial likes with me. Set up was simple. I had an initial confusion with Wifi setup. But then again the instructions were not 100% clear here but I got past that. After that setup with mobile was a snap. Also note to Brother the product is not listed in the check box when registering the product probably because this is a brand new product and website my not be updated with their data base yet. So I picked a product number that fell between this one and it accepted it. I really really like being able to scan to a cloud based site. I set up a junk user for all my family to scan their school and work stuff to and gave them access to it and it works great.... Scanning was nice. Easy mobile use. I could not test the fax function. Not many folks use faxes anymore except for medical folks or medical related work. Front panel button use was easy. Screen was easy to read and instructions were easy to follow as well. Printing was pretty fast. The huge ink cartridges are a plus. Look at it. It's the size of my palm. Holy cow. So going back to the my older laser printer. If Brother product stayed the same with the quality, I would think that this printer would stand the test of time as well. Nicely done Brother. I would recommend this product for home work school use.

Great all in one Printer, fast and quiet.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this to replace an HP 7864 quit scanning from the front panel after updating to OS13.0 on my Mac. HP had no fix. Was scared by all the paper jam reviews, but bought it anyway for the features, price and promise of savings on ink. Setup was relatively quick and painless, following the directions and installing the full software package from Brother's site. I also preloaded my iPhone with the Mobile Connect app. I used the app to setup the printer. I think those that have problems with setup either have older software on their computer or problematic wifi, because mine went smoothly, if not a bit tedious, especially using the tiny screen and old-school buttons to enter and change the machine password. I hard-wired mine with the USB, but it is connected to my network also and works flawlessly with my iPhones and iPads. I am 1 week into use, daily, but not heavy, in my home office. Not one jam yet. I do not print many multi-page documents, maybe that's where the problems will come. But, so far, so good. As for the savings on ink, I hope that I will have to wait about a year (as advertised) to find out. My only complaint is the document feeder does not keep the page straight. My scans all seem to come out a bit crooked. Not terrible, but not quite straight. Therefore 4 stars. Otherwise, I am happy with the replacement. It is smaller, faster and more quiet than my HP was for sure. Here's to hoping I don't have to buy ink until next Fall.

Great multi-function printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is excellent, especially when you get tired of doing spontaneous frequent ink cartridge replacement. I have printed many pages so far, and there is still plenty of ink in the ink containers. After removing all shipping items from the printer, I plugged the printer and followed the simple instructions. I placed the ink containers in the printer and proceeded with downloading and installing the appropriate driver for this specific printer on the Brother website. The entire setup did not take more than 20 minutes, and I could also print from my mobile phone. I like the Brother Mobile Connect App that allows the users to print from anywhere with a mobile device. You can also use your phone to scan, copy and photograph prints. The print quality is very sharp, excellent color prints, and deep rich dark blacks. My wife uses the printer for last-minute print photos for her book collage projects; she loves how colorful the photo prints come out. Scanning is easy and quick with the front panel button. I do not have a landline at my office, so I can't comment on the fax feature. I am pleased with this printer's multi-functionality, print quality, sharp and clear prints, and impressive printing speed.

The basic setup went off without a problem, just a little time consuming. Making copies from the unit. Automatic duplexing is not available from the sheet feeder. You must insert the page on the glass then turn it over and re-insert it. I did not test the fax part. No land line available at my location. I rated this unit 4 stars because I could not find on the box or in the packaging information as to duty cycle, pages printed per minute, and the fact that it does not do automatic duplexing from the sheet feeder. I would not recommend this unit to a small business. It is however well suited for a home/dorm printer.

Fast and crisp printing quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very picky when it comes to printers in my home office, especially ink jet printers. This Brother MFCJ4335DW INKvestment Tank Inkjet printer is part of the long line of Brother printers with the new hybrid between standard ink cartridge system and a cartridge/onboard tank. This means that Brother INKvestment Tank printers have expanded ink capacity, therefore offering you more time printing before needing a refill. I was impressed that although this is a good sized inkjet printer, it was light and not too heavy to move around on my home office. Set up was very simple with plug in, turn on, and follow the simple instructions. Installing the ink cartridges requires you to shake each one up first before installing them into their assigned slot. After ink installation was complete, you are instructed to printing up test pages, scanning the test page, and setting up the WiFi system. The MFCJ4335DW offers fax, scan, copy and web printing capability. The display and control center dominate the printing side of the printer. Here, you see the small LCD display (which also gives you an ink status!), device options, control pad and number keys. It is pretty straight forward, although I have not utilized the fax machine component yet. The right side of the control panel has a nice printing option feature of Stop/Exit, Black or Color. Connecting this to my WiFi was very simple with the addition of the number pad. I also was able to connect my iPhone to the built in WiFi so that I could print directly onto here. The bottom of the printer has the printer tray as well as the print job tray. I was stunned at the quality of the prints, both color and bw. Equally impressing was when I was using this for single page and double-sided print jobs. It printed multiple pages of both single-sided and double-sided pages in remarkable times. As an inkjet printer, I didn’t see any streaks or noticeable smears. I do use 24lb bright printing paper for additional quality print jobs. So far, I have found no issues or any area of concerns. This is a very capable and remarkable printer and I highly recommend it for anyone with home office needs or school needs due to distance learning.

Good printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased with this Brother printer. Set up was very easy, the printer is fast and it’s does a beautiful job. The best thing about it is how long ink lasts. I have printed several hundred pages and have barely made it dent and the amount of ink the printer is used. It is a tad bit noisy but for the quality of work and they small amount of ink uses. I am very happy with this.

BROTHER MFC-J4335DW GREAT AT HOME PRINTER
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I researched a ton of printers in the UNDER $250 category. If you do NOT need a printer for photos . . I think this is the best bang for your buck based upon my research. I chose this printer for AT HOME USE being a high school math teacher that makes most of his own worksheets and tests. . .and having a high school son that needs to print of reports and projects. . .. So color was desired as well as a good quality dpi for printing off images or graphs. This Brother printer is replacing a $125 HP printer that was about 12 years old. Yes - this Brother Printer (MFC - J4335DW) is a step up from the HP purchased 12 years ago - so this is not an "apple to apples" comparison as the HP was an entry level printer and this Brother is a "mid-level" printer. . . but the Brother printer is superior in all ways. First - HP had wireless connection issues whether it be to a laptop, phone or tablet. Brother has had NO CONNECTION ISSUES. Time it takes to print from command to printer actually working . . . As soon as you hit "print" - the Brother responds and prints - no lag. . . no "warm up" time. The HP would have a 5-8 second lag before "warming up" - then another 5- 10 seconds to "warm up" .. . THEN it would print. TIME TO PRINT - Brother is a quicker print. Ease of Access to the Ink Cartridges. Brother wins hands down. Brother ink cartridge compartment is to the side of the copy deck. . pulls out and changes VERY easily. The HP Ink Cartridge replacement was always a nightmare. Ink Cartridges located UNDER copy deck. . .had to wait for the Ink Cartridge trolley to come to center - then trying to get Ink Cartridges seated was ALWAYS an issue. NOISE LEVEL. . . The HP sounds like it is chipping old asphalt off the highway. The Brother just prints at 1/3 the noise level of the HP in less than 1/2 the time. Print Quality - Brother is superior. PAPER REPLACING - Brother is easier. Brother is superior in how it comes out in the outfeed tray. HP. . . if you didn't have up the little "catch" your papers ended up on the floor. INK - Brother replacement ink is 1/2 the price of HP. The only thing the HP did better was print photos onto photo paper. I sacrificed printing off photos for a better print quality and quieter as a lower price point. If you have a student . . . and do NOT need to print photos . . .then this is a GREAT at home printer to meet your needs.

Great little printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is a good size, setting up and putting ink cartridges in is very easy. Bought because I wanted my paper in a drawer instead of sticking up on back of printer (especially in the humidity) and also wanted to auto print 2-sided pages. The printer prints 2-sided no problem, I have scanned and copied and all work very well. Prints black & white and color nicely. For the price, it is a great buy. It has a fax option but I do not have mine connected to a phone line. It can be set up wirelessly or via usb. I have it connected via usb. The little screen shows time/date, tells you what to do and shows ink level. I do not print hundreds of pages each month but for my use it works well. So far happy with purchase.

Handy Dandy Brother Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably my 7th & 8th printer, and possibly the smallest I've ever had. EZ to set up and get going once all software is loaded and updated. Needs very little space on the table next to my desk. So far, it has performed perfectly for my needs. If not, I will rely on my Best Buy Protection Plan to repair or replace.

Expected quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All in all the experience i have had from this printers is on par with what i was expecting. The this printers does everything that i was expecting it to do, but in a much more compact design. Usually, all in ones seem to be bulky and almost too big to easily move around. This printer is everything but, quiet, compact and speedy. Set up was a breeze too and with its efficient ink management its bound to be a money saver in the long run. If you are looking for a middle of the road, all in one this printers is a must have for the price point due to its ease of set up, compactness and its ink efficiency.

Excellent Multi-Function Printer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Brother printer is an excellent multi-functional printer. And, the price is very reasonable for what you get. The set up was very straight forward, even without detailed setup instructions. I used the USB port setup to my computer and I had no problems with that setup. I have had HP printers in the past and this one is far superior in every way. I have printed documents in their eco mode (draft mode on other printers) and the output has been clear and crisp print in various fonts. I try to us the duplex mode as often as possible to save paper and that function works very well. I have not had the printer jam up at all. The color of the photos I have printed have been realistic to the scanned photos. It did take me a little while not to have a touch screen to perform various functions, but the buttons to the side of the screen is not a problem once you get used to it. I do not have a FAX so I cannot comment on that function. But overall, I would highly recommend you consider this Brother printer if you are in the market for a multi-function printer. It is definitely worth the price for the quality it offers.

Super quick set up
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a printer that for some reason, my laptop refused to connect to. I was also always buying ink of one color or another. This was super fast to set up and I was printing from my laptop right away. It connected to my wifi right quickly in a few simple steps The colors are good, I can select black and white if needed to save on color ink. They say the ink will last a year. We will see if that is true! I don't print daily or even weekly but it will be nice to know the ink is ready to go.
