Easy set up. The only issue was with setting up the scanner. Prints good and has long ink life.

I bought this after much research. I had been using Epson printer for almost 15 years. It was still working but the print quality was declining and was missing most of the latest features like Air print, wifi connection etc. The setup of J4535DW was fairly easy and straight forward. Installed the cartridges that came with the printer and they are good to go. I have printed only a few copies so far, both color and grey scale. Both have nice quality and ink seems to last long. A word of caution. The print quality is decent but have realistic expectations. Don't expect laser quality sharpness. It is not that sharp. And the color printing is decent but no where close to $1200 photo printer. I bought this printer for occasional color and B&W copies for my work and my daughter's school assignments. Only thing that I will keep an eye on ink usage. That was one of the priary reasons for buying a Brother with INKvestment Tank feature. The cartriges are expensive but if they last as long a Brother claims, then I'll be quite satisfied. I have seen some reviews that ink doesn't last that long. I'll see how it goes for my usage. Printer is good size. It's a bit bigger that my Epson but nice thing is that paper trays are front loading and the output comes out on the top. So I can use it on a printer stand near a wall outlets without any need to move the printer at all. I can print using wifi. Wifi connection has been very stable and it connects immediately I turn on the printer. So far I'm quite happy with this purchase. Best Buy had the best price or this model. Sam's Club had at the same price but it wasn't available for store pick up and shipping wasn't free. I was able to pick it up from local BB store next day.

I needed a new printer so I bought this one because it has large capacity ink tanks that can last up to a year and it is an all-in-one with the fax feature. It can handle thick card stock, which I use for greeting cards, that another brand I tried couldn't. The colors are vibrant for making greeting cards and presentations. I like the double-sided printing feature and the sizes of paper it takes. It's expensive, but I bought it for the quality and great experiences I have had with other Brother printers. Brother has a very good reputation and the last one I bought is over 10 years old and still works good enough for basic printing.

This printer was bought to replace a HP that stopped printing. Setup for Apple was easy. The items I have printed were done quickly and printed correctly. I like that the printer will print on both sides instead of having to put the paper back in. The view screen tilts so you can avoid the glare. The paper tray holds an adequate amount of paper. So far, I am very happy with this printer.

So far it's great. I was able to get it hooked up professionally with the tech support program. Where else but Best Buy can you get help with hooking up a printer!!!! It says it includes enough ink for a full year. I sure hope so! It looks nice, it works great, and it has two drawers for paper. Easy to use.

This is the best printer that we have purchased. This printer is fast, quiet, and runs so smooth. It has a large ink capacity and it will tell you about how many more pages it will print for each color. It was so simple to set up. It stays connected to my wifi, unlike my previous printer. The ink is less expensive than my previos printer. I love this printer!

This is a beautiful machine. Easy to operate, fast, quiet, and excellent print quality. Setup was simple and completely wireless. I don't know if the ink will really last for a year, but the starting supply is the most generous I have ever seen with a printer. Can't go wrong with this one.

Brother printers truly raise the bar. I have used other brands but keep coming back to Brother. This is a truly amazing printer. Very simple to setup, and this is one that you can kind of just forget once you set it up, it never needs any attention, it will work on its own no matter what. Has all the features we all have come to love and need more often than not. (double side printing, copy, scan, print from phone or wifi, amazing color prints, super fast printing, etc). This uses liquid ink which is cheaper than your traditional cartridges and also easy to refill. I honestly have nothing bad to say about this printer. It more than exceed expectations. If you are on the line about this or any other of its kind, just go with this one, you will not rerget it.

great value for the money. Fast, wireless hooks up quickly and stays hooked up. I have owned a lot of printers that have been miserable including other Brothers and I was hesitant to buy. Glad I did, Great product

I've had this printer for a month now, the feature I love the most is I can print from my phone or any other devices in my home. So far I like it much better than my Hp printer.

This was a great bargain. Supplies are affordable and print quality is good. Easy to set up and use as well.

Set up took less than 15 minutes from start to finish (wireless - including opening the box). This really was a snap. Print quality is excellent but I have not (and will not) do any photo printing and print speed was much faster than I expected. I do, however, take issue with the product being advertised as INKvestment since a full complement of cartridges is around $100 and, despite the fact that the product description clearly indicates "1-Year of ink in-box", the cartridges are obviously starter cartridges. So, plan on adding ~$100 to the purchase price so you ACTUALLY get a year's worth of ink.

This printer’s quality is much better than my previous printer. The cartridges are easy to change. I have not had it long enough to judge how long the cartridges last so I cannot say whether it lives up to its claims. I love that it has two paper trays so I can keep it loaded with both legal and letter sized paper. The reason for the deduction of a star is it is very noisy. I don’t mind but if it was in or near a bedroom, it could be a problem.

I've purchase two Canon printers in the last few years. Both went belly up with a B504 error, basically junk after that happens. Cartridges were a pain, horrible start up time and noise. After that experience I decided to buy the Brother MFC-J4535dw. What a difference - quality printer, super fast and quite, extremely simple to setup. Easy access to cartridges. I spent a bit more money however with 1 years ink included and the much larger cartridges it's going to save me money and a ton of frustration. Key take away - don't go the cheapest, do your homework. This is a winner printer without breaking the bank.

I needed to replace my printer, and I generally by Brother, so this one caught my eye. It's reasonably sized for all that it does. I like the fact that it has 2 paper trays so you can work with different papers (photo v plain) and not have to get up to change the tray. Plus the wifi printing works great with a lot of range (throughout the house). This is a good printer which has met all my expectations.

Easy to set-up, excellent print quality. Really like the large paper trays, sheet feeder for copies and scans, etc.

Great quality, relatively easy to set up. Only drawback was the lack of a driver for my daughter's Chromebook operating system. For our Macs, all we had to do was plug the printer in, give it access to the wifi network, and it was discoverable to add as a printer within minutes. No need to follow the directions in the quick start guide and download the app from the App Store. 5 outta 5, would recommend and/or purchase again.

I purchased this printer to replace my old Epson printer. I wanted something with two paper drawers due to the fact that we print a lot of pictures and wanted a printer that can have a drawer strictly for photos. Well this one fits my needs perfectly, I love the fact that I don't have to switch out the paper and put photo paper in everytime I want to print a photo. The speed of this printer is OUTSTANDING to say the least. And also it comes with a year of ink is great too. The touchscreen is a decent size that fits my big fingers and is easy to use. The wireless setup was flawless and I was up and running in about 25 minutes. The only drawback I see so far is the ink is a little expensive, but if it gets a year out of the tanks it's well worth it. The speed of this printer is awesome and the quality of the photos and documents are beautiful. I don't think you will be disappointed with this printer !!!

So far, so good. Set up and software install was a breeze, prints instantly from my iPhone and I love the convenience of two enclosed paper trays at this price point. I’m an average home printer person I guess and haven’t even put a dent in the ink tanks yet and I purchased the extended warranty through Best Buy so there really isn’t anything to worry about for a few years.

This is my second ink investment from brother my first one was for myself and I have had that one for over a year and Iloved it so much that when I reset up my mothers home office I purchased this one. Easy to set up and if works as well as mine and right now i have no reason for doubt the ink will last a long time. Very happy so far.
