If you used to own an brother printer, then this is a no brainer. The tank basically last forever with cheaper print cost. But I advise against anyone to use this as a photo printer. The quality is good but the speed for color printing is really slow. 5 stars for a well all rounder. Only scan one side of page so buyers beware.

So far, ok. It does drop the WLAN and I need to recover the connection a lot. Printer is quiet and fast.

I bought the HP Envy about a year ago and what a mistake that was. I bought this Brother printer and glad I did. This printer is night and day compared to the HP. I read in some reviews that this printer was slow but in my experience I don't see how a printer can get any faster. I'm very happy with this printer.

Easy set up. Easy paper tray loading. Reliable, fast two-sided printing. Excellent black and color quality print.

Cheap price, thin plastic frame, but works well. Like having two paper trays. Don't like that it won't print envelopes. Haven't had to refill ink cartridges yet, so don't know how that works.

It's only been about 2 weeks, but I'm amazed at how fast this printer prints. Document print quality is excellent. If you are interested in printing photos, however, this printer is probably not for you. The color rendering is not great, but it is not marketed as a photo printer.

Took me forever to find a Brother printer at a reasonable price. Plus the amount of ink that you get is an awesome start. Wireless and all-in-one...you cant beat it for the price. Went through some hassle trying to get it, but it was more than worth it in the end.

This Brother all in one printer does a fantastic job and is always ready to go! With multiple paper drawers, it really speeds up those complicated jobs!

This is my first ever negative review on an item that i've purchased.. Ever. I will talk about the pro's 1st - It looks nice. - It's quiet - Has the features that you want in an all in one. - Changing ink is easy Now for the negatives.. And there isn't a long list of negatives, it's just there so bad that it's worth finding a better printer. If I knew now what I didn't when making this purchase I'd rather pass and copy whatever I'm printing by hand from memory. - The software stinks - The FIRM ware us buggy. - The controls on the printer are not easy to use - Brother support will not help you when you have a problem, You will find yourself going to youtube and google for answers - The connection to wifi always drops, - Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. - You can print from your phone (Sometimes) - If you leave it on, and it goes idle it will forget your connection details and you've have to put in your username and password (not from your router, but from the unit itself " It has it's own network id name and password" that you have to find because it's not printed on the actual machine. These are known issues that plague this machine specifically.

Prints nice. It works and comes with ethernet port. Brother fib a bit when they say Up to 1 year of ink. I can't think of anyone who prints that little in a year.

So far so good. After researching printers with larger ink capacity, I decided on the Brother. No problems yet. I hope it lasts a while. I replaced a cheap printer that stopped working.

Great printer for the price! Fast and efficient when printing documents through a wireless connection. The ink supply that comes with the printer is a great value as well. The ink lasts up to a full year. I print everyday and still have full ink cartridges.

Excellent printer/copier/scanner with a very long-lasting ink supply. Past one year and still using the original ink supply. Easy set-up and no issues with performance.

I bought this printer because I loved all of it's features. It was my first ink tank printer. The printer also easy to set up. However, its print quality is not good. This is absolutely not a photo printer which was important for me. Photos from top tray came out with roller marks across the entire photo. I printed photos from the document source option on the back of the printer and there were no roller marks. Regardless, all photos printed way too dark. As far as text documents, I printed quite a few and they tended to be rather blurry rather than crisp. I was very disappointed and took the printer back. For the exact same price, I bought the HP ENVY Photo 7155 printer. A few less features but the print quality of photos is nice and text documents look crisp. The HP 7155 is a much better printer for my needs.

Great color printer with tons of ink. The ink tanks are larger and more affordable than the old ink jet cartridges. Really a great improvement over the old ink jet printers. Photos print great and the scanner works really well.

Easy to set up and use. A welcome replacement to my Canon inkjet! It looks like I'll be saving $$$ on ink as well. You might want something slightly more rugged for an active home office, but this is all you will ever need for family use.

Researched the Brother MFC-J4535DW wireless printer & purchased it from Brother. Excellant printer. Prints from my laptop (wifi) & Kindle Fire tablet (MOPRIA) and setup was very easy. Brother shipped it to my home.

This is a superb printer for both home nd business use. I was surprised to see how fasts it can produce color prints. Mainly using this for my son's homework. Superb saving with the ink tank system. High recommended
