After being worn down by high ink replacement costs and my shock at how cheaply made the ink-tank printers that Epson and Canon were I bought this Brother printer. I did not expect that the Epson/Canon printers and paper feeders would outlast the year or two worth of ink provided (seriously), they cost more, and had less features. For work and school this printer is excellent without cheaping out on the paper feeder and scanning abilities. Wifi set up is a breeze, it comes loaded with every current feature imaginable, high quality two-sided scanning and printing, and full size rear feeder. While it is a big printer its footprint is no larger than my old Canon Pixma. Print quality is very good for most all applications (other than for photographers). After subtracting the cost of the ink that comes included, the printer is a steal.

Set up was easy. Print quality great. So far no problems. Lots of options I don't use. Touch screen menu simple.

Color printer works great. You get what you pay for in printers.

Looks good for home use. Size is good for the feature of machine.

Originally bought for a business but could not copy or get a clean professional look for in e.g. obituary printing. For regular business and access to scanning/emailing/android, faxing, etc its great. But thats not what i bought it for and i reached out to brothers disclosing ny end use and they said it would work and it can't keep up with the various obituary products quality, etc. Regular business its great.

Still working and no issues. Brother's support and website very helpful also.
