I have never had a wireless printer, but I just love the one I bought at Best Buy. I can even be laying in my bed in another room and print from my phone. I think that is terrific. I will always use a wireless printer from now on and the Brother MFC-J985DW wireless all in one is the one to buy.

Dad's old brother printer lasted him about 10 years. With the longevity of that printer i went with brother again and got him this one. hands down, brother makes the best printers. Ink yield was ridiculous at the time for his old one and this one again just adds to it. 100% recommend!

I've had many all-in-one wireless printers, but this is one of the few that stay connected. We have Google WiFi with multiple access points, which can cause issues with internet-connected printers. This one is a champ; stays connected and ready for action whenever we need it.

Was looking for a mfp with scanner /wifi and compact. The brother had all the features I needed and price was right. Only drawback is wifi but it because unit goes in some type of sleep mode. You just have to turn on and off. Otherwise happy

One thing I appreciate about Brother printers is that they are durable. Being in the military, we have moved a fair amount, and I've never had to worry about our Brother printers breaking down on us. This is a reliable purchase.

Decided on this model because of the advertized savings in ink costs. But the savings comes at the expense of dull color reproduction. My guess is the Brother uses less color per print than other brands. My 2600 series HP which is much less expensive produces brighter color images. The black text on the Brother printer, however, is sharp and clear. I like the touch control panel at the front of the printer and its automatic software update feature. The internet connection is fast and there have been no problems printing from a laptop in another room. If bright color images are not a priority for you, this could be the one to buy.

This Brother MFC-J985DW is a replacement for an older MFC-295CN that was fantastic! I Haven't had a chance to use it much but I love the connectivity options and features it comes with like the extra large ink cartridges, it even has NFC to easily connect a smart phone to it!

I needed to purchase another Brother Printer to replace one that stop printing. I purchased it from Staples and they do not cover the maintenance of the printer. This is why I went on line to see if Best Buy had the same printer. I am very pleased that Best Buy carry this Printer.

After the old brother printer started to have issues (after five+ years), this is a nice upgrade. The wifi works great for printing and scanning to tablets and phones. I'm still on the original cartridges so I'm hoping the lower cost per printed page holds up.

I purchased the Black copier a few years ago and wanted to upgrade to color. For school or small home office needs this is helpful. The product works well for the price.

I had two different people help me and they were both great. All my questions were answered and they were very helpful. This fit the bill for a printer that has a low printing cost per page.

My husband is the user and he likes it. One thing want to mention is if the printer had Bluetooth that we can get connected and print out for those who are at home. Haven't explored much yet.

Easy setup; connected to my WiFi with no problems. Great for home use, prints/scans right from my computer and cell phone...Thank you Brothers for a great printer/scanner/fax machine.

I have not bought a printer in 20 years so I was not prepared how lightweight printers are these days. This gadget does the trick well, but I do not think it will last 20 years!

Very happy so far. Especially with the ink output. Haven't tried photos yet, but sure they will be as good as I experienced with the other modes. Only wish the paper tray was larger.

Coming from a epson and this printer is a step up. Setting up the WiFi printing was fast and easy and having a paper tray that sits underneath the printer makes keeping it on a shelf really nice

I have not had any problems with it yet and I have had for over a month now. I haven't needed an ink cartridge and I use it very often. Overall, pretty good!

Color quality isn’t as vivid but it’s a workhoarse and ink last forever. I live That it prints 2-sided
