Fantastic little get the job done printer

This one replaces my last one that the power supply died on. Between the two, I've not had 1 paper jam -- which is one of my chief complaints of other models I've purchased. It's very easy to use, even with the MAC. It's perfect for my needs, which generally are Black and White, but the color is nice when I need it.

I like the extensive user interface including a numerical keyboard and small color display. Slightly bigger than my old HP printer but it has more functionality. I deducted 1 star because it only comes in white. I was looking for black however the black Brother printers were all out of stock.

It works great, prints pretty quickly (especially with black and white copies) and has a lower cost/more copies price for ink. The color printing is vivid and it’s great with printing copies. I’ve always used a different company’s printer, and this is my first Brother printer. I’ve been very happy with this purchase!

Software for scanning not very sophisticated. Am comparing to the brand I had for over 10 years. Changed due to ink/cartridge system. Bought without actually seeing the printer and examining features. It prints well and performs adequately.

Slow printer but well built

But it is a nice looking printer and takes up little space. if you are looking for a faster printing speed I would say get the higher price one. However Brother printers are highly recommended.

Reasonably Good Machine with Excellent Ink Prices

A little toy like to me as compared to my Lexmark which was sturdy. This printer was a lot less money than the Epson with low ink prices. Good scanner, too. Annoying that I cannot set my printing to draft when using my iMac.

GREAT Bang For The Buck!

My wife uses it for printing, copying and scanning, and so far....NO ISSUES! Also ink tanks instead of regular cartridges should save us a bunch of money. AND it comes with a year's worth of ink in the box!! None of those "starter" cartridges. Now if anyone wants to buy the left over ink from my old printer, please let me know. :-)

I have printed about maybe 50 pages and everything seems to be going well. I will be so glad not to have to order ink as it is suppose to have ink for a year. Once in while It doesn’t connect and I have to turn it off and on but that happened with the old printer so I don’t know if it’s our Internet or not. It prints fine. Everything is good.

I'm not a tech person so i had to call for some help . after that its works great

I wouldn’t suggest it for heavy use because it is a little bit slower but overall it is a great value and gets the job done. Cartridges that came with the printer are on their 3 ream of paper and still going strong. Works well with Macbook Pro and iPhone airprint.
