Customers find value in the INKvestment Tank MFC-J805DW's high-quality prints and ease of use. Many appreciate its compact size and the inclusion of fax functionality. However, some users experienced challenges with wireless connectivity and found the paper tray to be somewhat small. The lack of duplex scanning was also noted as a drawback by some customers.

I use this product for general printing not photos. It is two years old now and still working fine. It is very economical on ink which is good. A full set of ink cost over 100.00 I believe.

If you use a router with 2.4/5.0 bandwidth this printer has not picked up my router no matter what I've done. In order to print we revert to using our phone hotspots which is extremely annoying

Hi, I see you are experiencing an issue with connecting your machine using a dual router. Your Brother machine will only connect to the 2.4 GHz wireless band. I believe the link below will be helpful: https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/73618?R3ModelID=MFCJ805DW

The printer worked just fine although I haven't used it much yet. I've only faxed one page so far. However, I just used the scanner for 45 pages. It has a feeder. I scanned and saved the data super fast! Loved it.

I bought this as a versatile printer for our home, so far I am pleased with the results. The Ink has held up so far, but I am not a heavy user either. Overall 4 stars for quality.

Works great. I haven't had to worry about ink since I purchased it. I used to avoid printing color like the plague but now I don't worry about it. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to buy a printer.

My first experience with this brand.
It works very well, thus far, except that the colors on the color prints are way off and not true. There also appears to be no phone support.

I encountered some minor snags with two sided printing: jam at rear, but no jam apparent. Had to shut down, restart to clear error. Other than that it's been clear sailing. Wireless setup was easy, seamless.

This computer sucks a funky B hole! I’ve spent more time trying to connect to the internet so that it can print. It’s absolutely worthless.
You set it up and it works for about a week or 2 and the. You have to reconfigure everything. It’s ridiculous. And there’s no straight Ethernet connection. It’s all Wi-Fi or connect it physically to your computer. I have a laptop. It’s Super inconvenient.
Plus, the connection is under the printer lid section, not the back or side as we everything other printer. I want to throw it out the window. It sucks.
Don’t buy this pile. I feel like I’ve been completely conned. I hate you brother. And your loser printer.
