Purchased this color printer as a replacement for an older color printer that had messy and super expensive cartridges. This device was very easy to set up aside from trying to find where you plugged in the ethernet cord. The best thing was the ink that came with the purchase really did last a lot longer than I expected, 6 months with moderate usage. The ability to tweak the settings for the color, contrast, and depth of color allows you to determine how much ink is used and how bright you really need. The colors look fantastic. They are not as dynamic or bright as laser printers, but the difference in price is well worth it and the quality is higher than I expected. Moreover, the speed in printing is fairly quick. And the ability to do double-side color prints was an unexpected feature. And I love being able to make quick color copies in lieu of printing the same item. I'd definitely purchase this printer again. Lastly, I really appreciate being able to monitor the level of ink and the estimated number of pages you can print before needing to replace a cartridge. That really allows you to better plan and avoid running out of a cartridge just when you need to print something.

Very pleased with the printer. I needed the fax option as well as scan and copy. The option of printing on both front and back of a sheet is new to me and something I have missed on older printers I have owned. The internet connection was also easier To establish than I had expected.

The printer was a good deal, it came with 2 years of ink and the printing is decent quality. It was relatively easy to setup. My children like it, because, they can air print to it from their phones. All in all, I believe that it was a good deal.

Bought this printer based on reviews and the fact that it came with "2 Years" worth of ink in the box. Print quality is excellent and, despite the fact that it is not a Photo Printer, it does an adequate job of replicating photos. Would be nice if it would auto-feed for 2 sided to 2 sided copies so you could stack multiple pages of a document but it works as advertised so that's a limitation I was aware of at purchase. I initially had an issue when trying to print from my Android tablet where it would ignore my request for multiple copies (only print one no matter how many I requested) but I did some research online and read the manual (imagine that?) and once I get it set up for WI-Fi Direct this "problem" should be resolved. Time will tell how durable it is and if the INKVestment tank is really a good investment but, so far I'm pleased.

Fast, responsive, and easy to use. The paper feed works real well and so far, I have had no double-feeds. Though my printing requirement is minimal, I need the printer to perform even if there are several days of being idle between printing.

Got it for office applications. Works well. Would be 5 stars, but I don't like the software package. Too much duplication. Just want to plug it in an print. But other than that, pretty good.

Easy setup & install, great mobile app for printing from phone, quality prints and serious ink conservation. The only issue I have is that the exit tray is a little flimsy. Overall excellent machine so far.

I’ve printed several letters and reports. It prints on both sides automatically. Which comes in handy. All came out looking great. I played around printing photos and they look fantastic. Setting it up was very easy.

Love Brither products. Last one purchased lasted 14 years. Bought it for small business. It has some very nice features for personal use print/scan/fax but do not recommend for businesses.

It came much sooner that expected and I was kept in the know every step of the way. Compact and user friendly. Love that it's capable of printing double sided.

Best printer I've purchased so far! 2 years of ink, SOLD! I keep checking my ink levels and they barely moved. Super easy to set up and even prints double sided!

Have had this a year now and still running strong. So easy to use and still on first round of ink. Print quality is great.

Very easy set up and I’m not a tech guy. Prints and scans look great. Automatic feed works well. Ink should last close to 2 years.

This printer prints great, did everything I wanted except for it's my third one! They don't last longer than a year so make sure you take out the insurance option. The first two printers the printer heads broke. This one the printer roller stopped working. So frustrating. I won't be buying another one! I am so mad, always seems to happen in the middle of a print job.

I replaced a much older Brother printer that gave me years and years of great service, but the print head finally gave out. This one is a nice update. It handles multiple page feeds for copies or faxes, and will do duplex (two-sided) printing. The colors are acceptable - probably not the best printer for photos, if you do a lot of photo printing - I don't). Comes with a great supply of ink to get you started (unlike many printers).

I have been using this printer continuously since I purchased it at the beginning of Jan 2020. So far, absolutely no complaints. It was super easy to set-up the wireless connection. The tray feed works well, although you cannot use it to print one to two-sided; you have to place each page directly on the scanner bed. I am eager to find out just how long the ink lasts, but it has already lasted longer than have the cartridges in any of my previous printers.

Replaced a failing printer with this one. it prints fast and does two sides which is a savings on paper. Setup difficulty was easy to moderate. If you need to log in to the web interface of the printer, it can be a bit challenging to find the password. Print quality is decent.... I use preview quality.I am interested to see how long the ink tanks last. At this point it seems like its gonna be cheaper than what we had. Overall we really happy with our purchase.

I bought this printer because my other printer kept getting jammed. I am a student and also work with a nonprofit so I needed something more reliable to print brochures. My last printer also took forever to print a 2 sided brochure. I was so pleased and impressed with the quality of the brochures I printed with this printer. And it took the same amount of time to print 20 brochures that the old one took to print one!! I have put it to the test and haven't been let down yet.

I have been through multiple printers over the years and am very impressed with the Brother INKvestment Tank. Set-up was a breeze and all my devices connected immediately. I had no trouble with my new Nighthawk router, which my Cannon and HP did and prompted this purchase. It prints very quickly and text is crisp. Have not had time to test photos yet, but color on regular printing is nice. Like option to use black and white. Very pleased with purchase.
