The Brothers ink cartridges are pretty good and easy to install in their printer.

Original cartridge prints more pages and in good QUALTY keep your printer performing it's bedtime most of the time

This cartridge is easy to replace and lasts a few months with moderate usage (three kids in middle/high school)

Brother ink jet printers are popular with the frugal technorati because of the wide availability of inexpensive generic cartridges. There are reports and product disclaimers that some generics are not recognized in printers with later firmware. Since my usage is relatively low, I would rather not take that chance. Buy them ahead of time instead of waiting until you run low. Shop around, wait for sales, use coupons or rewards so you can get them at a fraction of MSRP.

Not every store carries ink supplies for the Brother printer even though the store sells Brother Printers. However, Best Buy takes care of their customers. If you buy the printer from them, they will carry the necessary supplies to keep the printer going. Besides that good turn, their prices are reasonable. They always have the product in stock. None of this going to the store and leaving empty handed. Best Buy is the BEST.

This ink cartridge is easy to load and lasts a long time. The larger cartridge lasts a very long time.

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas ( he is not real computer literate) so it had to be something easy for him to use. So far he is doing very well with it I added a keyboard for his own comfort. The screen is large enough for what he uses it for. I would buy this brand again it was easy to set up, the colors are really nice and HE LIKES IT!
