Brother LC103CL XL 3 pack purchase

I am absolutely disappointed that I purchased the 600 yield of these ink cartridges. I expected they would last twice as long as all my previous purchases of the 300 yield ink, but they did not. I did a summary on all of my purchase of both the 300 and 600 yield ink over the last several years (this was my 1st time purchasing the 6000 yield color ink) and the 600 yield wound up being a very disappointing expensive purchase. I tracked how often I purchased the 300 yield to this first time try on the 600 yield, consistently using about the same color print outs when using the 300 yield and the 600 was an expensive disappointment. Can you let me know why I didn't get twice as much color printing by ordering the 600 yield colored ink? .My estimating is that I got a yield of about 400 - 450 prints. There must be some reason why it didn't yield twice the number of color copies as the 300 yield color ink did.

I have a Brother Printer and I'm always purchasing my XL version of color and black cartridges from Best Buy. I always save at least 15% on each purchase of Brother Ink Cartridges and then I get my Reward Points on top of that and that's a WIN WIN to me. I purchase the cartridges that have the XL after the number like 103 XL since it gives the most color or black ink than the standard cartridges. My household goes through a lot of ink since I'm attending college and so is my younger son so we use our Brother Printer and get Brother Ink Cartridges all the time. Best Buy has always been so much cheaper on our Ink Cartridges and then can't forget the Reward Points. So I usually are able to use my Reward Points coupon along with the already low price of the Brother Ink Cartridges that I'm able to save more money.

We use these in a MFC j6920 dw printer, a few years now and not much to say. We mostly need basic documents, occasionally with images which are serviceable. We bought this device for its wide range of functions and uses, not for pretty output. Now and then we print in high quality mode and it looks fine. Colors look good, clear, etc. Have not used for photos specifically, but I will say that in many years I have found that the paper actually mattered more than anything else like ink. I would not gamble on other brands or refills, but that's just a personal decision. Anyway can't compare to those products. The Brother branded ink works fine for me, no clogs, no issues.

Good product, but sometimes hard to find. BUT online experience was awful. Best Buy website led me to believe that ink was available for pickup at my local store. Wrong! After placing my order and paying for it, I received an email 30 minutes later telling me it was not available at my local store. Instead, I needed to contact customer service to revise of cancel my order. So I called and lost 45 minutes on the phone to learn that my choices were either cancel the order or drive 30 minutes each way to pick up the ink. I drove to pick it up. My complaint - out of common courtesy, Best Buy should not lead a customer to believe they can pick up something locally when they cannot, especially when the customer service rep on the phone could easily confirm the product was unavailable where I ordered it.

Unfortunately, this was my last time buying this cartridge. I am moving on to a different printer. I would not recommend using this system of printers and cartriges because once any of the colors run out, the printer will not print, even if you have a full black cartridge and only want to print black. You are constantly either buying one package or another, even when one or most have plenty of ink left. The plus for this item is that the high-yield package of color ink for Brother Printers is a fair price (even in-store they will price-match their online price) and has way better yield than the regular size. The con is that you will be stuck in a neverending ink-buying cycle. Overall, a decent product for an otherwise bad system.

The price for the high yield package of color ink for Brother Printers is a fair price. The problem is that I used to own a Lexmark and it is a much better value. When the black on the Lexmark would run out it would use the rest of the colors to create black ink. The Brother printer, however, will not. Once the black runs out you need to buy a black cartridge to print black. You are constantly either buying one package or another, even when one set has plenty of ink left. If you print a lot of black ink you will simply sit on the mostly full colors and keep buying black. If you do use a lot of colors then this is a good buy providing you change your lettering to, oh, perhaps a nice shade of red.

I use alot of ink for proofing print jobs and use my proofs also for customer approval of their project. This ink is pretty close to actual press printing so I have never had a job rejected due to color fail. The ink isnt too expensive and if you shop around like I do bestbuy will pricematch if you show them its cheaper at another store. Also does well as far as its print yield. I think I change out ink cartridges like every 3 months but like I said I use it daily in my print business!

My previous phone was a 1st generation Moto G, so this one is much bigger of course and seems slimmer also. The reception is much better, with both cellular and wi-fi. The camera is better also, but the old one was pretty bad so that may not be saying much. The auto brightness on the screen is very sensitive to your hand shading the sensor so you have to hold the phone a bit awkwardly some times. Also the touch sensitivity on the screen is high, so I end up opening apps and doing things I don't intend to. I haven't gotten it wet or dropped it yet, so no comparison to the old one that was very good in that regard, which was the main reason I stayed with the Moto G family.

I'm quite pleased with the high volume of copies this package includes. The cyan, magenta and yellow individual cartridges are stated to each create 600 copies VS the normal 300 the regular size cartridges are stated to print, and I have no reason to dispute that claim. Individual cartridges are also cost-efficient, as you don't have to replace one whole cartridge just because one ink is out... You only have to replace that color cartridge. There's no smearing and these will last a bit longer with high volume ink capability.

Purchased a Brother printer when my HP one started acting up. It had more of what I was looking for and was a little smaller. I like thsee XL ink cartridges because I'm able to print so much more before running out of ink and having to replace the cartridges. The brother ink is also less expensive than the HP ink. The only difference between the two printers I've had, Brother has 3 color cartrides, HP had 1 tri-color cartridge, is the colors from the Brother printer don't look quite as bright, or as close to the colors as the original document or picture. Could be the printer. But this product is great!

Nothing wrong with the ink, but the service at the Fayetteville, N.C. store left a lot to be desired. Product was advertised as being on sale in the weekly flyer; but the cashier for some reason was unable to get the register to give me the sale price. Spoke to the manager on duty at the door, showing him the sale price displayed in the flyer. He shrugged his shoulders and told me he could do nothing about it. Fine. I still shop at Best Buy, but no longer at that store. I now bring the Best Buy sales flyer to Office Depot or Staples who are more than happy to match the price of an item I want to purchase.

I switched from HP after having the last two break down faster than I expected, with the last one working but printing awful quality at the end and reading that others had similar issues. Tech at work recommended Brother and I'm very happy with it. Glad to find the LC103 cartridges though. Hadn't paid attention initially and thought BB just never stocked the high-yield to eventually realize that Brother had two different part numbers for low-yield and high-yield. LC101 is low-yield and LC103 is high-yield. Much happier with the LC103. Lasts much longer. :-)

I have been using my Brothers printer for quite some time and an very please with the ink cartridges that I have been getting at Best Buys since I found out they carry them. I can by them by just black our what color I am out of or a package to all together If you have a time you have lot of printing come up you can get cartridges that are extra and you can print more sheet or you can save and got the standard want and won't have to worry if the ink would dry our or not. Which I don't know if they do or not was I use my a lot.

Printer ink cartridges. What can you say about them that hasn't already been said? They cost too much and yield too little. I think an ounce of ink costs more than most precious metals. Just saying. But when my Brother J870W (also purchased at BB) gets low on ink - any color - it refuses to do anything, including print in B&W, which is what I do mostly. So these fit the bill. The extra capacity keeps me running longer; I suppose it's a better value than the standard cartridges.

The Extended Life Color Cartridges Work

Took out the original cartridges last week - they actually lasted about a year with minimum printing, as this is just a backup printer for my HP workhorse. I installed these extended life print cartridges because I hate to run out of ink. Anyway, the printer went through its long routine of adjusting to the new cartridges and the printing quality is like new again. I gave this review 4 stars because I can't comment on the longevity of the XL cartridges as they have only been installed for a week. They work good so far.

We use the Brother MFC875 printer for our church, and these cartridges definitely fit our needs. Due to the large number of documents that we need printed, having the high yield cartridges saves money as we can print many copies of good quality before having to replace the cartridges. The color quality is exceptional. We recently printed over 500 pages of color text and used only about 1/10 of the cartridges. Of course, this was using the Fast Print option, but it worked for us.

Bought these as a replacement for the original ink cartridges that were not high yield. On sale they were not that much more than the regular ink cartridges so I thought I would try them as I normally use regular yield since I don't do a lot of printing. They install quite easily in my MFC-J870DW printer and work quite well - no noticeable difference from the regular yield in terms of print quality. Only time will tell if they last much longer than the standard cartridges.

What can you say about ink? Get readable documents I guess. Biggest problem is the automatic cleaning that is programmed into the printer is set to run even though I do not print anything and that cleaning wastes so much ink I have to replace cartridges more often then I have had to do for any other printers I have owned. No way have I ever been able to print the number of pages that it is advertised to print. Disappointed I ever bought the printer.
