More a reflection on the printer than the ink. Color seems to empty quickly considering I rarely use color then I’m stuck replace yellow ink when I only want a B&W print.

For starters the set is expensive in my opinion and you can get for a better price elsewhere. The quality of the product overall to me is terrible. These are supposed to be XL cartridges that provide more ink and I saw no difference from the regular ones. In fact I honestly felt like these ran out faster. I wouldn't recommend these and you'll run through them fast. The only nice thing is they pop right into your printer with no issues and no leaking. Other than that these are a hard pass for me.

Posted .Stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.
