Works as advertised. Pairs smoothly with the iPad and Mac, prints clean, crisp, single- and double-sided documents, and scans with decent resolution.

Great little machine - easy set up. For the price, this is a great multi-function copier. Printing and scanning was very easy using the Brother iPrint & Scan app. I'm a happy user.

I'm giving it 4 stars only because of the ink subscription issues and had to reset it twice on my network because it stopped communicating with the network to print. I was skeptical to buy a printer manufactured by Brother, Inc. because they are relatively new to the printer era but I had great experiences with Brother prior on other products so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm pretty much completely satisfied with it. Its a Great printer, good quality for a home/office option. It does go thru ink pretty quickly, the black anyway and I don't really care for the fact that when you order ink from Brother through the subscription or website, you are required to replace all of them instead of just the color that is out. The ink subscription prices are a bit pricy. 200 pages for $10 is a bit steep in my opinion. You also have to watch your account close because they do offer rollover pages which is great, but they aren't real quick to give them to you when you don't use your pages the previous month. I also don't like the fact that you only have 200 pages for rollover limits. But that's an issue with the subscription, not the printer itself. All in all, its a great quality printer with speed and functionality. Prints great quality photos as well!

I cant say enough about this printer. Prints fast and clear no issue printing from my phone, ipad or desk top. Good clear printing. Photos print perfect. Scanning was easy. It may not be the higher end of models but I am very pleased with this printer. I previously purchased a more expensive Cannon printer that didn’t always allow me to print and the scanning would not work. I got more for less money with this brother printer, its was well worth the purchase

I have owned numerous HP and Canon printers but none of them could compare to this Brother model. From the time I hit print on the Brother printer and walk over to pick up the documents, they have already printed and ready for retrieval; and this is using WiFi. Detailed instructions make it very easy to set up, connecting in minutes and then printing out great copies. If you're in the market for a new printer, I suggest taking a look at this one, I think you'll be glad you did.

The Brother - MFC-J1010DW has decent print quality & can fax, quickly print, scan, and copy. At this price point it is nice to see that it can manage 20-sheet ADF for faster bulk scanning & has two-sided copying, again not normally seen as an option on budget printers. Negatives: If you want to easily update the firmware via Brothers Mobile Connect you must create an account. As an alternative, you can manually update the firmware from printer using the password provided on the back of machine. Setup is simple with paper instructions & following prompts on LCD screen. Print quality wise black text and mono photocopies are fine with photos good enough for occasional use, but in this demographic folks cares more about color prints and copies on plain paper. With useful features and reliable performance, not a bad choice for home office, especially if you need fax. You are getting a lot of bang for buck here with Brother, a company that has a reliable reputation in the corporate business world.

The printer is working great. It’s very simple to assemble and operate. The printed copies are clear and readable. I highly recommend this printer-brother MFC-J1010DW. It serves the primary purpose of your personal/office printing and copying needs. You’ve got nothing to lose!

works well and was a replacement for a Dell inkjet. Once it is set up it is easy to use and prints look good. Not crazy about the scanner on it, still use my old scanner with more options.

Prints excellent quality copies, very easy to use, scanner is amazing. Very quiet too. Very reasonably priced.

This is a great little printer. It was easy to set up and prints well. Copy feature works great too. You can't go wrong with this printer.

Functions well. Easy to set up and to synch with my computer and iPhone. Only complaint is that the paper tray and its plastic extension are a little flimsy - need to handle them gently,

The printer set up easily and is pretty straightforward. I've had no issues with the printer. Unlike other printers I have owned, when I click print, it prints within a second. But the best part about the printer is the cost of ink. The cartridges are much cheaper than other companies. So I highly recommend this printer.

This is far and away a better printer than the new HP that I bought for my house (this one's for travel). The print quality is excellent, the speed is fine. it's pretty quiet. This one doesn't do duplex printing, but I didn't want that. My sole complaint so far is that when i scan a document with multiple pages I end up with multiple file. I want one file with multiple pages, like the original!

I bought my printer last November.It is very user friendly and I like the output.Very clear print.It is the easiest printer to use I have had.It is also a decent size to put on study table and save on space.

So far this printer has been great for what I need a printer for. I am definitely an occasional user and don't use it heavily but every once in a while I do need to do some printing. It works well and the buttons are easy to read and it's not difficult to learn how to use. I recommend it as an inexpensive printer, copy, fax, scanner all rolled into one...if you are not a heavy user.

I selected this printer because it is almost identical to my previous Brother printer. My only disappointment is that the color is not as bright and vivid as my MFC J480DW. It is still a great printer for the money, quiet, and very easy to use.

I've only had this printer for about a month and a half but so far very very pleased with it. Easy setup, great print quality, fast speed, low noise all for a good price

Good quality printer, easy setup, no issues setting up WIFI, print quality very good and space saving footprint. Perfect for home office. Would buy again.
