this was everything I was looking for in a home printer. It was easy to setup out the box with my home wi if. It works well with my iOS devices as air print works everything. I did notice that documents take longer to print when using air print vs sending a job via say wired. Print speed is average, again perfect for home use although this is a home office / business model. I have not really scanned too many things. However the few documents I did scan I was able to do so using the app which was a really cool feature. Major reason why I rated this 5 stars was because I felt for the price this prints quality jobs and at a reasonable rate with great features. I really did not want to get to in depth in this review , because I didn't use everything first hand. This has so many features I didn't name. One major one behind google drive printing. So that's really cool !

I love this printer. I can print from my phone,the cloud or my cpu. The printing quality is not all that,but gets the job done. Over all love it.

all I can say is this is a great all in one printer.. does everything I need it to do and more.. the main reason I purchased this was I was tired of spending $75 on replacement ink on my old printer.. this Brother printer gets 2/3 the price of their ink and I get 4 times the printing before I need to replace the ink cartridges again.. besides the ink I found out that the print quality is better and the WiFi capability is a feature I never thought I'd be using but turns out very handy !! now the whole family can dump their lesser quality printer and we all can share this Brother.. THEY ALL CAN PRINT FROM THEIR OWN COMPUTERS IN THEIR OWN ROOM.. there's 4 computers in our household.. if you're looking for a new all-in-one printer at a great price then this one is for you.. especially if you have a big family..

Bought because very few printers have interfaces that can be used if placed high on a desk or shelf. Loved the form factor, hidden paper tray, etc. This printer simply works great, several weeks of use now. Even printing from mobile devices was a snap. Only gripe is doesn't do photographs as well as the HP Photo smart all in one this replaced. Colors are not as vivid and bright, but are crisp.

Super easy to set up, very good printing quality in both black and color options, the app. really a ++ for functuality

I was looking for something that could print 11x17 on occasion and didn't burn through ink like the Lexmark I had before. This does a good job and isn't complicated. It is a bit noisy but I'm the only one around so that doesn't bother me.

Extremely easy to setup. Ideal All-in-One machine for a small home office. The print quality is outstanding.

This printer was easy to set up, has wireless printing, and even has an app avaloable to print from your mobile. Ink lasts much better than a HP

I had originally bought a Canon and was not happy with it's limitations. I finally took it back and tried this Brother. We are much happier with it's ease of use. We use the scan app from our phones to scan individual documents to a .pdf file and email them to whomever is requesting the info. All features worked right away but had to improve the quality of the print jobs by using the improve print quality option on the menu. I would buy this same printer again.

So far so good. Easy to set up. It's a little noisy, but it prints great. Love the double sided print feature. For the price it has been worth it. Haven't really tried to scan anything yet.

This Brother printer has very god B&W print quality and is very compact which makes it great for a home office. So far I haven't done much color printing. The price is also a good value.

Print quality is good, a welcome state after the printer I just dumped. My only complaint, which is a medium sized one, is the amount of noise it makes. When receiving data, it occasionally fires off this loud smoke detector level tone that lasts for 15 seconds or so. Print process is also jerky and noisy. Other than that, the printer works well.

Love my new brother printer. The speed is awesome. Much faster than my previous hp printer that only lasted less than 2 years. Can't recommend it enough. Very easy to set up.

I like this printer, especially the flexibility of the paper feeder options and the wireless which was my primary reason for buying it. However, even though the quality of the print meets my routine needs it's definitely not as good as my older Epson that's not wireless. I have made the recommended adjustments but, it hasn't helped.

I love this printer. Excellent print quality. The only problem I ever have with this printer is an occasional paper jam, but that may be the paper, not the printer.

easy setup, works very well with both iPad and windows. best part is entirely wireless, can print from anywhere.

This is a good little printer that prints quickly and has good quality. Scans quickly, also. My only issue with it is that it "sings" to us every morning with the first print of the day. It's a high pitched continuous tone that lasts a few seconds. It's a bit disconcerting when I have clients here.

Upgraded from a Canon and big improvement! Prints quickly and isn't overly loud. Space for extra large paper unlike many others. Great deal!

This printer does it all. It prints color and scans all the things a student needs. I have my printer in a small room, so it does get kind of loud. It prints quite slow than what I expected but if you're patient enough, it only takes a few seconds so it's not a big problem.
