This is the second Brother printer I have purchased. My only concern with Brother printers is the high cost for ink cartridges. Hope this new one will be less costly than the first one.

I was looking for a color LASER printer in an affordable price for home use. Even though it is not LASER printer but it really does great job. Wireless setting is very easy, I can print from any corner of my home. It can scan and scaned document directly goes to my computer, very nice.

The first week , the printer worked fine but after that he became really slow taking several minutes to start printing and once it started printing, it would print one page every three minutes. We double checked the default settings, refreshed it rebooted it and the problem persisted.

I have used Brother printers for years, this one was not one I would recommend, problems with the wireless adapter staying connected and keeping its configuration. Dealt with Brother support for 3 weeks and they still wanted to troubleshoot. Elite Plus rewards made it much easier to just return, then to wait for support to exchange it.

Another great product by Brother. For a home all in one system it is very reliable and efficient. It could store more paper. Wireless setup and works with phone, tablet, and laptop flawlessly. For the price you can not go wrong with this purchase.

The printer does its job but It takes for ever to print like 20 pages and the scanner feels flimsy when you have to lift it up and down for document scanning.

Most functions were ok, but wireless printing seems to get held up on the last page of pdf files. It prints 2/3 of the page from left to right. A few more attempts with my taxes and a wired connection but I think this printer will have to go back. It hangs with a message that it's retrieving data from memory. Sending the same document to a wireless HP600 printed right away.

I love the fact that the ink for this printer is so much less than that for an HP. But I had a lot of problems trying to set it up. It took hours on the phone with Brother technical support before I could get it to scan to a file or send a fax. My major disappointment, however, is that even technical support could not help me to get the AirPrint feature to work. That is a major problem for me, as I used to print from my iPhone and iPad previously on my HP. Very disappointing.

My last brother printer was still working when I retired it due to lack of newer features such as AirPrint. This new machine just works. Got it on a sale and so far so great! iOS AirPrint feature is almost flawless. Me likey!!

My wife who was in school at the time had grown tired of constantly spending $40 on new ink for the HP that seemed to disappear magically. We love this all in one printer as it is very economical and efficient on the ink!
