Wireless printing from any device in my house. Works great and a fax too. Can't beat the price or quality!

Very good printer for its money, the reason, I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I can't make the scanning feature work after several tries.

Easy setup also.1 irritant howrver, it doesnt come with a coaxial cable,and no one told me,so I had to make a 2nd trip back to purchase one

Printer works great. Very user friendly plug it in and your ready to go. The ink cartridges are not to bad expensive. Well worth the price.

I installed this printer in my home for semi-frequent use. It was a touch more expensive than other brands on the market but I trust the reliability of Brother's printers so I chose this one. The features offered (wireless printing, scanning, copying, and faxing) all make it worthwhile and the setup was very easy. Definitely a solid purchase.

I bought this printer to go with the laptop I bought my parents. This printer is an awesome machine and the price was exceptional. I plan to go back and buy myself one. Love this printer.

I have this printer's predecessor & it has worked just fine for home use for a couple years. In fact it's still running fine. So I knew what I was getting when I bought this one. It is S L O W and has to reset itself after each single copy and that is aggravating and time consuming. And it does not have a very good paper feed. Papers tend to get stuck or come through in bunches, half the print on one sheet and the other half on another sheet. And when that happens, and the paper jam is cleared out, the printer has to be turned off completely to reset it because the jam code gets stuck in its memory. And lastly, after taking out the paper feed tray & replacing it, the printer requires a 1 or 2 to be selected before I can print again. So if these things won't bother you, it's a good inexpensive choice because it does print well. I wonder why Brother requires different ink cartridges for essentially the same machine but a new model year. Hmmmm.

I picked this printer up on the deal of the day and it was a good choice. The wireless feature is one of the main reasons I went for it and I was even able to set up the printer without a computer, just a smart phone. I also was glad the printer allows you to scan documents and directly upload them to Google Drive. The speed at which it prints is a little slow but I only intend on using this for light jobs. Very happy with my purchase

The Brother - MFC-J485DW Wireless All-In-One Printer is great for any Home Office, Installation of software was very easy, and i had it up and running with the direct cable connection. You need IT knowledge and understanding to set up the wireless features of the printer. Lack of these steps in a very minimal manual made searching for the info I needed to operate it wirelessly was time consuming when it should have been incorporated.

This printer works flawlessly. It is wireless and I can use it with any device connected to network in my house. I can now print from every laptop, desktop, iPhone and iPad wirelessly.

I love this printer. It was so easy to hook up the wireless printer and I was back to doing my work as usual. Really easy step by step instruction on the screen for whatever you need.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter in college. She is enjoying it and the price to refill the ink is very inexpensive

Brothers printer easy to set up and use w/ wifi, Ink level's last a good long time. Compaired to the other printers this is a good deal for eas of use, cost, and ink.

I bought this because I wanted something smaller than the printer I had and I needed a printer I could connect to from my phone IPad or my laptop that was wireless! I have had no issues with it and I love the fact that I can print something from anywhere in my house! I also love that this printer is smaller and doesn't take up a lot of room.

I have 2 of those printers on my office and they are really reliable, I am not a computer guy but the set up fo wi-fi was very easy!

I was all set for a full day of getting the printer up and running. It was almost done when I took it out the box and plugged it in. The quick installation instructions were right on! I have had a Brother printer for almost ten years and it is a workhorse so when I Needed a wireless one, it was ano-brainer. Thanks Brother.

It took a little while to set it up. It does make a little noice while printing . I guess it normal for many printers

I was unhappy with printers we have had from the other major makers. Thought we'd try Brother. It will scan directly to an email or storage website such as Google Drive. Wifi connectivity and the Brother software printer drivers seem UTD and easy to connect. I've found two shortcomings. First, the USB port is a square type, meaning that common thumb drives will not fit. I do not understand how to use it. Second, printing does not have a draft setting, only normal or best.

We have used this printer a lot since purchase, for high school projects and mutable forms for my work purposes. Wireless capabilities have been nice as I've never used my cell phone to print from. Ink cartridges are less expensive for this brsnd and I like that when I print I have the option to print in color or monochrome.

This printer is reasonably priced; performs well. Replaced this printer with an Epson I owned; this printer was a better choice.
