The printer is really amazing. It has so many features including the wifi. The photo print quality is amazing. The black and white print is also crisp and sharp. The printer is easy to assemble. You will be up and running in no time. Only thing i felt was the printer a little slow. This a really good printer and i would surely recommend it. Thanks

This printer was very easy to set up for wireless printing from both my laptop and phone. The print quality is pretty good. It works well as a printer, copier, and fax machine.

My review is strictly based on comparison of products within similar range (MFC Inkjet printer family, price range, etc.). Positives: The printer is very easy and straight forward to assemble and connect. The enclosed instructions were clear and descriptive enough to follow easily. The Initial setup and network connectivity went flawless without any major issues. Once the printer was online and active on the network, I ran the CD that came with the printer on my various home computers to setup printer, and it completed successfully enabling the printer on each device. I downloaded the App on the Google Play Store and Apple Store for enabling printing from my smartphones. Again the install and setup went flawless. The first print took a while to initialize the printer. However, all subsequent printouts were within the stated performance ratings of the printer (even faster a few times!). The Scan was clear and I was able to get the image on laptop over wireless connection. Negatives: The ink cartridges did not get recognized when I initially installed the printer. I had to pull them out and reinstall the cartridges while the printer was still turned on, for the cartridges to be correctly identified and recognized by printer. A small inconvenience I'm ok with for the great price it came up for! The same cartridge recognition issue happened again when I had to upgrade the firmware for the printer. But this is a simple issue you can solve by yourself.

Pros: ink isn't as expensive as some printer inks and the longer lasting ink really does last awhile. Easy to scan using this printer with the ControlCenter feature. Small and lightweight Cons: wouldn't have purchased if realized that printing double-sided isn't automatic - paper has to be fed on the second side.

I actually bought it as a Christmas gift for my wife. She is self employed and often has to send out packages and contracts and etc. We have been having to get up early to run to Kinkos for to fax or scan documents for one reason or another... So I felt like it was time to do away with all that and break down buy her a printer. It's kind of a "do-all" machine, it faxes, scans, color copies, connects to wifi... Brother also has an app that you download to your phone that allows you to send documents from your phone right to the printer. You can also use the app to find out the levels of your ink and if I remember correctly, order more before you run out. It's really easy to setup, the ink cartrigages (sorry for spelling lol) are really easy to put in and it comes with everything you need except the paper. It's also not very noisy and it prints pretty quick.

Printer works great from PC, tablets or phones. the Wi-Fi was easy to get up and running from PC tablet or phone with good quality printing. The ink for the printer is a good price and the compartment for the printer ink is in a great spot compared to others printers. and don't forget the great price for the printer was only $59 ps: you can print, fax, copy, and scan and yes you can do color photo printing.

This is my second brother printer that I have purchased in the last 10 years. The other one is still going strong. I needed a second one for another computer and this fit the bill perfectly. Very easy to use, dependable, and fairly economical when compared to other brands. Ink replacement is more affordable than other brands I have dealt with and it is almost fool proof for set up and functionality.

I purchased this printer looking for a replacement for a failing HP Deskjet color printer that had served me well for well over 15 years. I was looking for affordable printing costs, wireless printing, Google Cloud Print for the ChromeOS devices in the household, and a small overall footprint. This printer delivers on all of those. Highly recommend.

It was so easy to set up and the print and copy quality is great. Also, faxing is easy.. Wireless is the only way to go! Great product for the price!

I don't need anything fancy - what I wanted was inexpensive. As long as it prints basic documents, I can go to a Kinkos or Office Depot for fancy stuff. This is a good basic printer, easy to use. It won't win any speed contests, and it's not exactly silent, but it does what I need. Easy to set up, too.

I’ve had great luck with Brother products in the past which helped me choose this printer. It was easy to set up, easy to print from phone and tablet even 2 sided. The cartridges are less expensive than hp and seem to last longer but are not widely available from other stores. Best Buy stocks them though. Exceeded my expectations especially for the price point.

Very easy to set it up. I also down loaded the Brother printer app, and now I can print from my phone, it's just as easy to sync and setup. I'm happy with it all.

A very simple machine to setup, works great, print quality is good, scanning functions work great and the ios app is friendly as well. My iPhone recognizes the printer as a print destination, and prints from my phone looked very good. I did not need or hook up the fax option, so I have no review on that operation.

This is a great printer! Its smaller prints quickly and works great via wifi. i would definitely recommend this printer to anyone who is need of a new printer.

I've had this printer for a few weeks and overall it has been a solid purchase. It prints a little slow, so don't expect to be printing a short novel in record time, but the print quality is good and it seems to make the ink last. I've had a few glitches trying to get it to print and scan over wifi, but I eventually got it to work. Overall, it wasn't the easiest to get the wifi aspect of it to work but other than that it does a great job.

This is a nice size and the quality is outstanding . Love tbe ease of use of this printer its much better than my old one . Would recommend it.

Super easy setup. Reliable. Gets the job done. Colors aren’t super vibrant, but it’s worth the cost.

This printer is a great all in one printer. I like that you're able to print wirelessly from your phone or laptop. Fax works great also as does the scanner
