    I have owned Canon, HP, and Brother printers through the years and hands down, Brother printers out perform all those other brands. This particular MFC-J485DW is a standard all-in-one that does everything - scan, print, fax, etc. The only drawback is wireless printing speed is very slow as opposed to Ethernet. I bought this for my son in junior high to print assigents and it's perfect! If you need a fast printer, definitely get a higher end Brother printer, as this is just a basic one and perfect for a student!
