Read lots of reviews before buying this printer. I'm not all that tech savy and was concerned about getting something I couldn't figure out how to set up and use. I was looking for one that would be easy to set up, would copy and scan documents. I will occasionally print out a photo, but that's not of huge importance to me. I was definitely looking for one that would not break the bank when buying ink cartridge replacements. So far this Brother MFC-J885DW has just been amazing! I was able to set it up in about 30 minutes. It was so easy! The one page easy start sheet tells you exactly what to do and when to put it the CD installer. From there the printer explains everything as you go along. I had absolutely no problems and was able to print from my iphone right off the bat! I've had this printer now for over a month and haven't even had a paper jam! I wish all products worked this well! My first Brother product, but it won't be my last!

Finally, a printer that WORKS! Above all, I value a printer that is reliable. So far, this printer has not let me down. It was very easy to set up and allows me to easily print wirelessly from my Macbook Pro. Quite frankly, this thing can do a lot more than I will probably ever use it for. I simply decided to try a Brother printer because it claims to be # 1 in reliability and because the printer at my dad's office has been running strong for years of heavy use. Happy that I finally have a printer that won't decide to stop working the day before a paper is due or need something asap for work! :)

I had a Brother printer that I liked a lot, but it wasn't wireless, so I had to get a new one. After looking at all the different options, I chose this Brother because of its wireless compact design, low ink costs, and functionality. It does everything, including two-sided printing. Not as good with printing camera photos, but I don't do a lot that on my home printer anyway. Very good buy.

I needed a printer that would allow me to print from my mobile devices. This printer was perfect for that. I use it in my home and it more than meets my needs. The print quality is good and the printer is always reliable. I have it installed wirelessly and have had no issues. I would highly recommend it for the price.

This inkjet printer is easy to setup and use. The text output is clean. It's plenty fast for my needs. I love that it goes into deep sleep mode and wakes up instantly when a print job is submitted to it. My lenovo laptop running Windows 10 detected it and installed the driver automatically and has had no issues printing wirelessly to it. Your cat will love it, too.

I had a printer that was so complicated as to be useless and choked on its own cueing process. I was so happy with this printer that I bought another one like it. Set-up was very easy and the quality of print is excellent. Best of all was the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality performance and a bargain price,

I got this to replace a larger Epson inkjet that wouldn't fit into my new cupboard. I also wanted to replace the Epson because it didn't hold the paper steady and some lines came out as unintended italics. This compact printer does everything the Epson was supposed to but does it better and in a more compact footprint.

This is great product, easy to use, easy to install, good price and compact.

My wife and I needed a scanner/printer in a hurry. For a couple of weeks we needed to be able send, receive and print a lot of documents , and no time to shop around. This unit was on sale and recommended by the BB associate. It fit our needs perfectly. Setup and wireless connection were painless. We were up and running with no delay. We couldn't be happier.

My sweetheart bought one similar to this one. she liked it and I needed a printer. So, - - I went to Best Buy and bought one. I also purchased some extra ink and paper. Here are the results. It connected wirelessly to my computer through the router. I have since printed several items for various purposes. So far, (it is very new), it has performed flawlessly! I printed some labels for mailing and they came out perfect! Get one of these. They are better than the Hewlett Packard ones. I have printed Excel, Word and various other documents without a hitch. The copies are crisp and very legible! Can't say enough about it. (Honestly, I have not tried a color picture yet but will soon and I am sure they will be excellent)

Easy to use and set up. Works as advertised. Only complaints are that it's difficult to pull out the paper tray to reload paper. It's also a bit difficult finding ink for this printer. Staples usually has a couple black cartridges available, but can never find any in stock at Office Depot. SamsClub does not carry it either.

Takes up minimal space. Prints beautiful. Easy setup. Even runs on widows 10 without a hassle. I've used that other manufacturer for many years and this brother printer was more affordable and runs way better.

Good features at a great price. Easy to use with a size that makes it fit almost anywhere. Had several other printers in the past 2 years alone and this one has been the only trouble-free brand.

Great print from an inexpensive Brother printer. I own six different Brother printers and this one is one of my favorites. Love the easy setup for WI-FL.

This all-in-one printer was easy to install and pair by Wi-Fi to my laptop. Faxing, printing, copying and scanning are easily done from the touchscreen or my laptop. It's compact size fit perfectly in my home computer desk.

First time going with a Brothers unit. Like the size and the individual ink supplies, especially the lower cost. Set up with Win 10 required new Drivers from Brothers. Easy to set up after that and if you read the instructions! Prints very quickly with some noise.

This is my second brother all-in-one. This one replace an HP. The brother is easy to use, more efficient with ink, and avoids the bloatware that HP installs.

I needed a printer that could be used with an iPad and print the occasional photo without my ink disappearing in a few months. I replaced a great HP with a newer model and learned the hard way that newer printers clean themselves constantly. So I used consumer reports to find one that did not and this one fit the bill. Now for the details: For color on plain paper look for some other business printer, this is average at best. Photo quality is pretty good but the photo holder has to be manually set and once set it will only print on photo paper. The tray only holds 20 photos. It is pic bridge compatible and it holds all of your standard memory cards. All in all it serves my purpose. Document print is decent, but I print all of my documents on my Brother MFC-7360N which is an amazing laser printer. If you are constantly printing photos than this is not for you, if you print the occasional photo and need a goof Wi-Fi printer for IOS and android this can't be beat.

Instead of two printers, we have this one. It is easily accessible to everyone in the family wherever we are on the property. Inexpensive printer ink, excellent results, multifunction.

easy to get started, have not had time yet to figure out printing from my Ipad. the paper tray holds a lot more than the canon pixma I had, also prints much faster.
