Printer is quiet and starts up in about a minute. It prints from my PC and iPhone wirelessly. Small footprint makes it easy to store my desk. Scanning is quick and program is simple. Doesn't load a lot of other un-necessary programs on my PC like my last Canon printer did.

Setup was fast and easy. Love the wireless print capability. Used for office document printing.

I managed to get this in the Christmas sale, with about $30 off. My last printer was a multifunctional Brother unit as well, after using Epson printers for years. Epson screwed me over with the last one I had: it reported an engineering fault, which I was told is a simple reset that they do, and the machine wasn't even old. That was my last Epson. My experience with Brother printers has been above and beyond what I'd expect. I loved my MFC-465 and I'm particularly loving this new J885DW. I've got it stashed in a closet and it wirelessly serves pages up from any device I have, laptops, iPhones, Android, all wireless. Double-sided printing, no hassle. Until I experience real issues with Brother printers, I will always choose them over the competition. Ink is cheap (I use quality third-party cartridges, one per color). A great unit!

I purchased this printer for use in my classroom. Liked everything about it to include the printing app for my iPhone. The only draw back is wireless printing only uses wifi. I'd like to see a Bluetooth function... For the price you can't beat this printer!

I've had this all in one for over a year now and it's working great. It's much quieter and prints faster than my last Brother all in one. I;m using it with a windows 10 PC. I haven't printed on photo paper yet, but everything else is perfect. Scanner software very easy to use. I love this all in one printer scanner fax unit.

I purchased this Brother printer because I read numerous reviews about this model and I had previously owned a Brother printer with no issues. Easy unpacking, easy directions, easy setup and I haven't looked back. I have an IMac 27" running El Capitan. Also, I ordered online for store pickup and it took me all of 5 minutes in the store. Great service.

Had debated between going with laser or inkjet but decided going with the inkjet. This printer was extremely easy to connect to my wireless system and has performed as expected. Great for general purpose printing.

I purchased the printer for my son in college. Works well and does not take much space in his dorm room. Only problem is we could not get printer to work with wifi so he has to connect his computer to the printer to print. Hopefully it is just being on a network in college and will work wireless at home.

We bought this Brother printer not knowing much about it but it was recommended by the sales associate. We love it. It is nice and compact and prints really nicely and was easy to set up. Great printer!

This is a reliable printer and works great. Colors are nice. I'm printing via wireless and that's a plus using PC. Just keep in mind you will need a cable to set up not included. Printer cable.

The ink cost less than the other printers we've had. It's doing a great job so far. We've only had it 3 months, but we really like it. The salesman at Best Buy helped us to determine which printer would work the best for us.

I wanted a new inkjet for the little bit of color I do. I also occasionally need to have a scanner. HP used to be my go to. The ink cost on this will be better and I suspect they wont dry out as fast(unconfirmed). So far i like it a lot. The document feeder worked well for scanning 15 pages I needed. Lots of features built in. What i dont like. This feels very cheap on the trays and the trays do have limited paper in reserve. I have been a Brother fan for a long time and this is by far the cheapest tray on any brand Ive touched. Its bad because the tray does need to be extended or it drops paper off the device. It meets my needs for a casual user who uses a laser for bw print.

This printer is a good size, reliable, and dependable. The ink is not as expensive as other brands. It fits my needs for printing, scanning, and copying perfectly.

I have a brother sewing machine i love and figured i would see how their printers are. After seeing so many good reviews decided to bite the bullet and get it. Glad i did. It prints beautifully and is quick and easy setup. I've been primarily doing glossy photo prints and they look vivid and lovely. Definitely would recommend.

This is not the fastest printer but it is very good. Wireless printing works well. Sheet feeder for originals a real plus. Have had this for about a month and it has performed very well.

I got it for the auto document feeder when scanning. Works well. Print quality is good. It can print 2 sided documents. I use it wirelessly with a MacBook Pro.

Great printer for home use. Recommend. Fast, like paper drawer, easy to set up and connect. Wireless printing feature is really nice.

Would not use this printer for digital art, however, for basic household usage it is practical. Ink is relatively inexpensive when compared to HP, Epson and Canon. Print is acceptable if you are not worried about formal presentations

Very easy to use and set up and I like that the replacement ink cartridges are not priced out of this world...
