Wireless or USB. Brother provides lifetime tech support. The ink is affordable and it takes aftermarket cartridges to save even more money. It scans 14" documents but only through the automatic document feeder. Otherwise, 11" paper is scanned on the. flatbed glass. The only thing I wish were improved is the paper tray which feels very flimsy. Overall, this is an excellent multi-function printer.

I got this to replace a larger Epson inkjet that wouldn't fit into my new cupboard. I also wanted to replace the Epson because it didn't hold the paper steady and some lines came out as unintended italics. This compact printer does everything the Epson was supposed to but does it better and in a more compact footprint.

I needed a printer that would allow me to print from my mobile devices. This printer was perfect for that. I use it in my home and it more than meets my needs. The print quality is good and the printer is always reliable. I have it installed wirelessly and have had no issues. I would highly recommend it for the price.

The printer is easy to use. Works easily with phones and laptops as well as desktop computers. Drivers are easy to install. Good for a small home, a few documents to print, to print pictures now and then and a scanner as well. All around, a good 'bang for the buck!"

This replaces a Canon printer that never worked well. This printer has worked well so far, although it often spits out an extra page of blank paper. It is quick to respond to a command and does a good job of printing crisp copies. I like the compact footprint.

I've had it working for a month now with out any problems. I really like the more compact size of the printer as that's one reason I bought it. I'm not using the wireless feature though. The ink is relatively inexpensive unlike some other brands. So far so good. I don't expect any trouble at all. Nice! I told a friend what I bought and he bought one too!

Nice printer for the price. No complaints. No problems when scanning and printing. I wouldn't suspect any fax problems but I have not used it for faxing yet. I have an internet telephone line, T-Mobile line link, which is in the next room. Would love some feedback on how to send faxes with the line link if possible.

this updated version of the model i used to own, carries forth the same consistent quality of printing i have grown used to. one complaint: this model does NOT provide an XL size of the ink. very unfortunate, as i use about a package a week of the colored ink. be aware of his fault when deciding which model to purchase.

The compact size is a plus! Paper feed smooth and duplex feature is great! Two things not so great! Feature list says USB connection but there is no USB port! We have the printer near our TV. The printer powers up and down when we turn on/off our TV. Won't turn on with power button. So we use tv remote when we print!

My wife and I needed a scanner/printer in a hurry. For a couple of weeks we needed to be able send, receive and print a lot of documents , and no time to shop around. This unit was on sale and recommended by the BB associate. It fit our needs perfectly. Setup and wireless connection were painless. We were up and running with no delay. We couldn't be happier.

I purchased this printer for use in my classroom. Liked everything about it to include the printing app for my iPhone. The only draw back is wireless printing only uses wifi. I'd like to see a Bluetooth function... For the price you can't beat this printer!

I purchased this Brother printer because I read numerous reviews about this model and I had previously owned a Brother printer with no issues. Easy unpacking, easy directions, easy setup and I haven't looked back. I have an IMac 27" running El Capitan. Also, I ordered online for store pickup and it took me all of 5 minutes in the store. Great service.
