Machine works very well. Quiet, multi functions, easey to use have always liked Brother productds

wanted a small compact printer but big on features this one has it all!! Plus the awesomeness of being able to buy individual color inks.

This is my second Brother printer. First one was purchased in 1993. I had two HP printers that went bad after less than two years each. I think this Brother is very sturdily built, easy to operate, and prints surprisingly well. I hope it lasts at least four years.

I bought this printer because it was more or less just an "updated" version of my previous Brother printer. I passed the old one along to another family member but liked it enough to basically get another one. It's dependable, easy to use and the Brother software isn't a PITA like an HP printer I had before switching to Brother.

I have been using my Brother MFC-J885DW all-in-one printer for quite some time. It is a compact printer that fits in a very small space. The colors are vibrant, or you can choose black and white from the printer menu, or from your computer print menu. In addition to the slot for 8.5x11 paper there is a smaller slot for 4x6 options. As far as ink goes, this printer seem to go through significantly less ink compared with the HP printers I have always purchased. This printer also lets you continue to print even if one of the ink cartridges is low or empty, unlike every HP that I have had. It will warn you that the ink is low, but you can choose to continue printing (likely not great for the printer, but comes in handy when you just have one or two more pages to go). I really do love HP, but my Mom had a similar Brother. I thought I'd give them a try. Not disappointed at all! I'd give it a 4.5 stars if possible to do here.

Bought this for a friend who desired a budget, multi-purpose printer for fairly simple uses. Set-up was straight forward in a wireless configuration for use with both a computer and smartphone. Ink costs are expected to be relatively low. After 2 months of use, there have been no problems and we are happy with the purchase.

We use this printer on the go on search and rescue missions to print and scan documents and maps. The color is great, super easy to set up even on the go wirelessly, and we can have multiple people printing from different devices which is a great time saver.

For the cost, this printer delivers a lot of bang for the buck. The quality of print, especially in color, is very satisfying.

Fast and good printing. Not the printing quality of my Canon. also doesn't inhale ink like my Canon. Small foot print. A little trouble getting AirPrint, Google cloud and wifi to work. Actually, still can't can't AirPrint to work .

I am enjoying the Brother Printer purchased for me as a Christmas gift from my husband. Installation was relatively easy. The operation and use of the printer is also very easy. The clarity of the copies is so much better with this printer compared to the copies of the printer I was previously using. It is very dependable. I would recommend this printer for the home. as well as the office.

had a lexmark, nothing but problems. got this printer was easy set for wifi

The printer works great, printing, copying and scanning. I didn't hook up the fax, since I don't think I need it. However, it is extremely noisy! It works quickly, so it doesn't last long, but the noise is pretty loud.

The best so far, have given several to thrift stores that developed bad software after a few months.

Great buy first time with an at home printer/scanner and it works great and easy to use! Highly recommend it

The cost of the ink is a great value. My only issue is that it scans duplex, but only from the flatbed only.

I bought this printer to replace my old HP Photosmart printer after it gave me a horrible experience. This brother printer works fast and gets the job done!I love how sleep and compact the printer is and works well. Bought it for school use and my parents use it for personal in home work.

Love this Printer/Scanner etc. Works great - easy setup - works great with my MAC and PC. Just love this thing. Also can print from my Chromebooks.

Very noisy but gets the job done. Haven't had to replace any cartridges yet (starter ones that came with the printer) Does good copy, scan and regular print. Haven't used the fax yet. I just wish it wasn't so noisy. Maybe Brother can work on that,

This is a great little printer-doesn't take up a lot of desktop space, but includes a scanner, two sided printing, AirPrint for iOS devices, and more. Very easy to set up. Got connected to wifi in just a few minutes.

I liked the size which was not too big. does a great job for my home office.
