This printer was simple to install and setup on my wifi network for wireless printing. The printer is quiet and fast. The print quality is excellent. It prints only in black but that is all I wanted.

Brother printer is pretty easy to setup and I have been using this brand printer for a while now. It's reliable and never give me any problems. I do have to say that the cartage can be expensive if you do print a lot but I guess that goes the same with other printers as well.

Bought this printer to replace an ink jet that sucked down ink like a vampire. I print very little, so buying ink just to clean print heads was not cost effective. This laser works great! The included management software doesn't see that the printer is online, but it still prints perfectly. Would be 5 stars if the software worked properly.

My previous Brother WiFi monochrome laser printer, bought in Japan, was around 10 years old and had a clunky WiFi connection procedure. After moving to a new location, I bought this to replace the previous Brother. All my Apple devices--MacBooks, iPad, iPhone--connect to it easily. It scans quickly and prints nicely. It has two RJ11 ports: a line in (from the wall) and line out (to my Vtech answering machine phone). Cox claimed that faxing was not supported over their network, but a Cat 5 Ethernet cable with RJ11 ends--Best Buy doesn't carry them--connected the Brother to the wall and the Brother to the phone. All's working perfectly! I expect this Brother will go another 10 years.

Good quality prints, loved wifi pruning operations

this is my first laser printer, and I've only had it a month or two, but so far I love it. this is also my first Brother printer, having used Canon, Epson, and HP in the past. I was surprised that the toner is as cheap as it is - thought Laser Printers would be more than inkjet. Very easy to replace toner, online features like emailing scanned files and / or saving them directly to your PC was a breeze to set up on the Touchscreen LCD and are easy to use with shortcuts. So far, I am amazed at what I got for the price. Considering a Brother Color Laser printer now, but then I looked at how much the ink costs - so not sure on that. The black and white is much cheaper per page.

Easy to setup up. Fast sound laser printer. Much less expensive to use than a ink jet printer.

Print quality is good, a little bit noisy. Scanning capacity is good and can do both side.

This is a very compact unit and is very easy to operate. Takes up a lot less room than my old one & the printer quality is excellent for the price. You can't do much better than this one
