This is the first laser printer I’ve ever owned. I’ve always stayed away from buying laser printers because of their cost and the cost of replacement cartridges but I also knew that laser printers were superior in print quality compared to inkjet. I think this Brother MFC-L3770CDW will change my mind about buying another inkjet printer. I mean the print quality on this printer can’t be compared to a high quality inkjet printer. It is just that good. It has all the convenient features I need like AirPrint, duplex printing and scanning and web services. Other features worth noting. Scan to mobile: Scan a document then it will give you a QR code that you scan with your iPhone’s camera (I don’t use Android, so sorry) and it will upload it to your phone. Handy when you don’t have time to fire up your computer. You can scan documents directly to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Excel or to apps like Evernote, Google drive, OneDrive and Dropbox and to a USB drive. NFC: If your Android (not available for us Apple users) device supports the NFC feature, you can print from your device or scan documents to your device by touching it to the NFC symbol on the printer. It draws power like an iron. It draws 430 watts when printing. In my case, if I have my fan on and I start a print job, the fan will lose some power for a bit. Oh yeah, just in case you plan on plugging this on a power strip, make sure it has a 3-prong outlet. Large footprint, well compared to an inkjet printer that is, and it’s heavy. So, if you’re putting this on your desk, make sure you have at least a 19.5” x 16.25 space on your table top and can support 54 pounds. Don’t put this on an Ikea student desk! Just saying. You can connect to it via wireless 802.11 b/g/n (note: 2.4Ghz band only), ethernet, NFC, Hi-Speed USB 2.0 (cable not included) Toners vs. Inkjet cartridges Toners are very expensive… In all fairness though, they yield more pages than the regular inkjet cartridge so in the long run, they can be cheaper. This one uses 4 toner cartridges and the black (TN223BK) standard yield (1,400 pages) is about $56 while the 3 other toners cost around $70 each and they yield 1,300 pages. It seems like every time it’s time to print on the inkjet printers, one or more of the cartridges is low. Sometimes, it’s more cost effective to replace the whole printer especially when Black Friday rolls around. This unit comes with a set of starter toner cartridges that yields 1000 pages. Notable specs: 250 sheet tray; 50 sheet document feeder Prints 25 pages/minute black and color Output tray capacity: 150 sheets Maximum input for ADF: 8.5”/14” (width/height) Machine noise: 33db/47db (ready/printing) Print resolution (max dpi.): 2400 x 600 dpi Pros - Surprisingly quiet - Wireless mobile device printing; Wifi Direct, Airprint and Google Cloud print - Single-pass duplex (2-sided) copying and scanning - Duplex scanning, printing and faxing Cons - Toners are costly compared to inkjet cartridges - Large footprint This will definitely be my printer for printing important documents like resumes and legal documents. I’ll use my inkjet for photos and greeting cards. It takes up a lot and stands out on the desktop but it makes me look professional. Overall, this printer covers all my needs and I’ll be willing to buy toner cartridges when the time comes, hopefully later than sooner. I purchased this printer to replace my HP all in one. I love it. It prints quickly and quietly. The print quality is nice, too. In fact, I love it so much, I am about to purchase a second one to use at my office to replace the HP one that we have currently. I came to the store to purchase a new printer and the sales associate was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in printers. He quickly gave me the pros and cons of the various printer and helped me select the best one for my usage and needs.

This is a great machine! Personally, I needed the Geek Squad assistance to get it set up wireless. It comes with a disk and my All in one computer does not have a disk drive. I also had difficulty figuring out what information to put into the printer to set it up wirelessly. But once the Geek Squad had it set up, it's super easy to use. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money for the Geek Squad.

Very happy with this purchase. This met all of my requirements - 1) multi-function, all-in-one; 2) color, double sided printing; 3) LASER print engine - I'm done with inkjet printers; 4) network ready w/ RJ45 interface. This does it all. I'm familiar with Brother's quality since I also have one of their monochrome double sided laser printers. So I didn't hesitate to go back to Brother when looking for a color laser printer. Excellent buy.

I purchased this all in one for my small business. Before purchasing, I researched heavily. This was the best color all in one for the price, features, and my office needs. I waited for a sale then purchased. My experience has been great. If you're considering buying, do it. I don't foresee another printer purchase anytime soon. For those, who need to read something negative about a product, I think the toners replacement are expensive.

This is the first printer I've bought in 8 years, and wow, have these things gotten so much more user friendly! Adding the printer to the Wi Fi network was a breeze, and connecting via nearly every device was equally easy. This thing works great with iPhones, iPads, Chromebooks, etc. The app is very intuitive, and provides great flexibility. The touch screen on the printer makes operating it very simple.
