Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My printer is just over one year old - just out of its warranty period - and there is an issue with it detecting a toner cartridge. This printer is extremely difficult to change out toner cartridges. I just had to replace the drum unit after only 1 year's use and now it is failing to let the printer know that the black toner cartridge has been changes. Not sure if sensor has gone out or if it's loaded slightly wrong. All indications are that the load is fine. Will have to work on it a bit more, but I had to catch anyone thinking about purchasing it. I'd keep looking at other printers. It prints great - when it's working... That's why I gave it 2 stars. But it will frustrate the heck out of you when you try to swap out toner cartridges.

Does what it's supposed to. EXCEPT... If you run out of ONE toner color, you are completely unable to print in ANY color. I recently ran out of yellow and couldn't even print black & white. Well, it will print in B&W if you set it to monochrome *before* you run out of one of the other colors. But if you run out in the middle of a print job, you're screwed until you replace the toner. I mean, come on! Even my old inkjet wouldn't limit me like that. Always keep an extra set of toner cartridges on hand, just in case. And the Easy Replenish will still take a couple days to reach you. If they can't fix this oversight, this was my first, and likely last, Brother purchase.

My 2-year-old inkjet regularly failed to connect without restarting the printer and the computer. This one connected as soon as I put in the network key and prints consistently from any device.

That whole process took considerably less time than I anticipated. The colors and graphics are very good for a small business. I was able to scan and copy with ease simply using the onscreen menu system. All in all I am very satisfied with the price and performance of this all-in-one laser printer!
