It came packed nicely and is decent looking. The machine prints very quickly compared to my older HP color laser jet. However, the print quality is VERY poor. The colors are grainy, there are black spots all over the paper and the prints almost seem smudged. The problem gets worse if you print for any extended time, as well. Unfortunately, I cannot return this printer because I didn't get it set up until after the return window was closed, or else this thing would be going right back. And yes, I am using the Brother branded toner that came in the unit.

I printed out some pics on photographic quality paper and saw the BIG difference between what this printer does and what my earlier rev HP did. Buy it only if high quality printing e.g. photographs are NOT an important element of your success criteria.
