This printed is very good. Is quick and quiet. Set up was easy. A bit larger than I expected, make sure you measure the space before buying.

Seems to work reliably so far. Easy to connect to, easy to set up. Scanning and copying works well. It’s good for home / home office / home school.

Very good device with expensive cartridges. Both LAN and WiFi work really well. Multiple devices on network, no issues whatsoever.

Bought this printer for home office. I had researched for weeks, yet still had a hard time deciding between a few options and to be honest, Brother, was not one of them. At least not until I went to Best Buy & explain what I was looking door to the associate. He suggested either a printer by Brother or HP. I looked at them both a little closer, did a little research, and I decided to go with this one by Brother. It is hand down the best printer I’ve ever owned & it’s perfect for my business & home office! Speed, quality, set-up & use are all top notch.

My old Brother commercial printer died and I did not think I could get the same benefits with a new printer. Was I wrong! This little gem prints faster, cleaner, and was soooo easy to set up! I'm amazed at how quickly it prints after you send a job to it. I just love technology! Plus, the toner cartridges cost less than for my old printer. As a bonus, I enrolled in automatic refills: the printer send an order for a new cartridge automatically so I'll never run out of ink, and I don't have to stockpile it all in advance. I highly recommend this unit!

This thing is really big, and heavy. I have only run about 50 pages through so far, and it has performed well. I am a bit disappointed that the regular cartridges only are projected to last 1300 pages, and Brother charges a premium for the longer-life cartridges which cost them little additional to manufacture. But they, like most printer manufacturers, find it hard to move away from the expensive cartridge model. Print quality is good and it is quiet. Paper handling fine so far and the software pretty intuitive. Setup as easy.

This does everything I need I print occasionally, and scan constantly. Excellent choice.

Love this printer so far...it is physically larger than I had planned on but it does everything it’s supposed to and it does it fast. Setup was a breeze.

Our entire household consists of students. My daughter is in her senior year and my girlfriend and I are both finishing our bachelor's in our respective fields of study. This printer has saved us so much money and it has been extremely reliable and produces high-quality images and documents. This is the 3rd Brother Product we have purchased from best buy and the replacement warranty is worth its weight in gold. The warranty process is hassle-free and painless if you have any issues. Best Buy has earned lifetime buyers in our home.

I’m quite particular when it comes to printers and their capabilities. I was searching for specific functions and was having a hard time finding them all in one machine. This printer fit the bill, and it was also well priced. Normally, I have to call my brother who’s in IT to help me set up new technology purchases, but this one I was able to set up all on my own. I would absolutely recommend this printer, I am super happy with my purchase. It is very user friendly and a fantastic machine.

Brother printers are usually outstanding. We’ve had an MFC for quite some time. Very easy to set up, etc. we decided to go with a color laser/led printer. We picked this one up and we’re very excited about all its features. Unfortunately, we had to return it because it was producing a paper jam each and every time we printed. We thought we’d keep it and hopefully it would remedy itself. But, it just kept jamming and not in a good way. The replacement process was very easy. Best Buy allowed me to exchange it with no questions asked. So far it has been performing as expected. I have the product 3 stars because I’m still uneasy about printing and worried it will jam like the other one, again, not in a good way. Hopefully, this one will work out just fine like the other Brother, no pun intended.

I love the quality of the laser printer. I also love that printed text and graphics do not smear when wet.

Purchased this one after our previous Brother printer (8 years old) died. So far, everything is smooth.. It it faster and quieter than our old unit, and does not have the annoying habit of the old unit to jam when fed an envelope in the manual feed. Like the touchscreen as opposed to the harder-to-read LED screen of the old unit. Works great for our home's scanning and printing needs.

I purchased a "Brother" printer after years of purchasing HP printers. As the quality of my HP printers seemed to be decreasing over the years, I realized it was time for a change. The Brother printer I purchased was a move in the right direction. Thus far, it has performed wonderfully, and I am hoping for years of reliable, trouble-free printing!

Since I am working from home and I think the rest of the family may be home more I thought it may be behoove us to purchase a laser printer and hopefully save some money in the long run. After looking at a lot of different models and finding reviews to be all over the place I eventually decided on this one as most of the reviews were positive and I liked the features it offered. The printer was well packaged and relatively easy to get out of the box once you get a good handhold. I read through the instructions which basically entails removing all of the extra tape and packaging items left in and around the printer. The printer started right up, and I followed the instructions to add the printer to my WIFI network which worked flawlessly. I was prompted to download a firmware update once the printer was connected which took a few minutes, and immediately after reboot it wanted to download a second update which surprised me a little. The second update went a lot faster and once finished it was ready to go. I ran a test print from the printer itself which looked good, and then proceeded to install the software on all the computers in my house. Pro-tip, if you set your computers to print in monochrome by default the printer will not use any color ink when printing black. Lastly I had only ever intended to use this printer to print documents of different kinds and maybe some color graphs. Last night my dad asked me to print a picture to give to my aunt so she could get an idea of what the portrait they ordered from some photo company will look like when it arrived. I agreed, but told my dad that it probably won't look that great as photos are best done by inkjets. That said my expectations were pretty low, turns out it did a decent job all considering, especially given the super cheap paper I currently have in it. If I remember I will give a follow up review, but as of right now I am quite happy with my purchase.

I just moved and needed a color laser printer to replace my HP inkjet printer. The sales associate strongly recommended Brother over HP for reliability and for cost/benefit. Many other reviews of HP color laser printers also mentioned problems getting them to wake in order to print. So, I bought the Brother. So far, it’s been flawless! Network setup was easy. Print quality is great. It hasn’t failed to wake and print from my iMac, my iPhone, or my iPad. Scanner quality has been very good for text. I highly recommend this printer!
