Customers highly value the MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Laser Printer for its easy setup, print quality, and quiet operation. They appreciate the convenience of wireless printing and the reliability of the machine. However, some customers find the toner replacements to be expensive and the printer to be bulky and heavy.

Everything about this printer is great. It was really easy to get set up. It is super fast at printing in black and white and in color. The only issue I've had is that it goes offline all the time. I have to turn it off and back on to get it to print wirelessly again. It's really annoying. I feel like there's probably an easy fix to this. I've just not had time to check it out. I just got this printer a couple of weeks ago. I've had a few other brother printers in the past in my office that worked great, and that's why I chose to go with another one.

This is a good all in one. Easy to set up & prints are crisp. I wish it was easier to go from one paper size to another without hassle. It seems like there are settings but I still have to manually pull the tray 1 out to change paper. The front tray wasn't consistently grabbing the legal size paper through, it kept grabbing the letter size paper in tray 1 even though I set the front (M tray) for legal.

The printer is by far the best purchase we have made in regards to printed material. Prior to this purchase we have gone through 3 ink jet printers over the past 4 years. This Brother printer was very easy to install, turn into a wireless printer, and also very quiet. The quality is great for our business and we would highly recommend this product for anyone looking to change printers!

Must Use Expensive Genuine Brother Toners

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought the printer without toner. I opted to buy cheaper, compatible toner from Amazon. The printer refused to print because the toner was not Genuine Brother Toner which cost approximately $300.00 in addition to the $549.99 for the Printer... I opted to return the printer and purchased a Canon MFC with ink cartridges that can be topped up with cheaper ink. In these times of runaway inflation this was the correct choice for me. I've always had Brother machines because they were reliable and toner was inexpensive and you could use generic toner... I am very disappointed that Brother decided to use software to limit their machines to use only Genuine Toner which is 4X four times more expensive. Best Buy made my return as painless as my purchase.

Awesome printer. I replaced an old inkjet with this and have been in love ever since. This prints much more quickly and efficiently than my old one. It has all the features I need and more. I use it daily and have replaced the toner only one time since I purchased it five months ago. Setup was a breeze. The quality is perfect for my needs, and I couldn't ask for a better product. Very pleased!

The Brother MFC-L3770CDW comes well protected in its box. It sets up quickly and perfectly for a Windows 10 PC using the latest downloadable software. It works perfectly with WiFi connected devices including different iPhones. The printing is quick. The print quality is fantastic. The scanning and copying are excellent. I have used HP, Canon, and Epson devices. But I wouldn’t trade this unit for any of them.

Bought this because of the wireless printing and duplexing and it has not disappointed. Set up was easy with my Mac and phones and it just works. Pretty quiet, especially since I can station it in a closet. It’s a large machine but for a color laser I think the size is worth the quality of prints. Haven’t run a ton of prints, so I’m not sure about the long-term regarding ink/toner, but so far so good after about four months of use.

We purchased this all in one laser printer after realizing how often we use our ink jet printer. We were spending hundreds on ink jet cartridges and got tired of replacing them. The feature I love the most is the double sided feature, now we're home schooling this feature has really helped us to not use excessive amounts of paper. I would recommend anyone who is working/schooling from home and printing a number of color printouts every week to invest in this printer. It was super easy to setup and wirelessly print from a phone, tablet, computer, either PC or Mac. You can even adjust the printer settings from any device, saving on paper and color toner. I would not recommend this printer for high quality art prints, the photographs can print a bit dark compared with the ink jet. Overall, it's a fantastic upgrade from an all in one ink jet printer. More functionality, faster, and less maintenance compared to an ink jet printer. It can handle a good amount of print jobs in a fast and economical manner.

We love this printer. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Prints pretty quick too and has a feeder which is a nice feature. We do not have a land line so I can't speak to the fax feature, but if it's anything like the rest of the printer, Since the printer password is required, my suggestion would be to put the password somewhere more easily accessible. Absent that, I suggest you write it down as soon as you get it out of the box.

Does the job, but some annoyances

My point of comparison is a 10-year-old Canon laser printer which this is replacing. Pros: - Crisp prints. - Setup instructions are great. - Prints quickly once it gets started - Easy WiFi setup with nicely responsive touchscreen - Quiet printing Cons: - Noticeable lag between submitting a print job and it warming up to start printing. My old Canon would be printing the first page within 5 seconds. This takes about 30 seconds. - Opens at the back for resolving paper jams. Given its weight, this is inconvenient if you want your printer against a wall. - After a print job, it makes some soft, squeaky mechanical noises as if something inside needs oil - Don't expect any easy-gliding, soft-opening action when opening the various trays and panels. It has creaky hinges and flimsy plastic. - During setup, the cartridge protection clips are unwieldy and difficult to remove without touching the parts you're not supposed to touch. For others considering this: - Check the dimensions before you buy it! I was not expecting it to be so large (the depth particularly). - Don't expect to get different shades of color out of a 4-cartridge color laser. This is not designed for printing photos. Annoyances aside: Is there such thing as a perfect printer? I don't think there is. Despite all its flaws, I'm not sure what I'd exchange it for.
