Customers highly value the MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Laser Printer for its easy setup, print quality, and quiet operation. They appreciate the convenience of wireless printing and the reliability of the machine. However, some customers find the toner replacements to be expensive and the printer to be bulky and heavy.

Love this printer. Moved from a Canon INkjet since that was justn ot printing as well as a i wanted it and with WFH and Kids printing all the time i needed a better primter. The speed and the quiet is simple worth it for me. I did have to put this on a dedicated circuit due to the amp requirements so its doesnt mess with my other home office equipment.

My point of comparison is a 10-year-old Canon laser printer which this is replacing.
Pros:
- Crisp prints.
- Setup instructions are great.
- Prints quickly once it gets started
- Easy WiFi setup with nicely responsive touchscreen
- Quiet printing
Cons:
- Noticeable lag between submitting a print job and it warming up to start printing. My old Canon would be printing the first page within 5 seconds. This takes about 30 seconds.
- Opens at the back for resolving paper jams. Given its weight, this is inconvenient if you want your printer against a wall.
- After a print job, it makes some soft, squeaky mechanical noises as if something inside needs oil
- Don't expect any easy-gliding, soft-opening action when opening the various trays and panels. It has creaky hinges and flimsy plastic.
- During setup, the cartridge protection clips are unwieldy and difficult to remove without touching the parts you're not supposed to touch.
For others considering this:
- Check the dimensions before you buy it! I was not expecting it to be so large (the depth particularly).
- Don't expect to get different shades of color out of a 4-cartridge color laser. This is not designed for printing photos.
Annoyances aside: Is there such thing as a perfect printer? I don't think there is. Despite all its flaws, I'm not sure what I'd exchange it for.

I purchased my Brother MFC-L3770CDW printer in November, took it home, and set it up with no problems whatsoever. I have used all the functions and everything works as advertised. I have had Brother printers before which I had great service from, and this one is following in its ancestors footprints. I have used it for 30 days without any problems whatsoever. The only tiny negative is the output tray is tight to get your print outs, copies, etc. out of the copier.

We bought this Brother printer after extensive research between the Brother models and HP. Even though we've had great luck with HP color lasers, the latest round of HPs didn't get as favorable of reviews as the similarly priced Brothers. We have been blown away at the quality of this Brother printer! Setup was an absolute breeze! The clarity and quality of the b&w and color prints from this Brother are off the charts. We are thrilled with this printer.

Great printer, so far it has been very reliable and quick. Great scanning features and easily retrievable on home laptop. For home use, may be a little too much, but mix in work-from-home and graduate course work, it performs quite well. Looking at replacement cartridges, its like every other printer in the, better off buying a new printer if 2 of 4 cartridges require replacement.

Overall Very Good Printer

Rec'd this last weekend and so far it's very good. Very quiet and fairly fast although I thought it would be faster. All functions are easy to use and work as intended. Print quality is excellent in both black and white and color. I was even surprised at how good the color photos printed.
I had one issue trying to figure out how to get duplex scans to go to one file rather than multiple files. I ended up calling Brother customer service and after a 10 minute hold I got a guy who was rather curt and borderline rude but he did point me to the right fix which is setting the file type to PDF in the iPrint/Scan utility.
So overall I'm happy with it. Toner is a major downside as it's very costly. I tried some EZink from Amazon just to see if it worked. The printer saw it fine but it left blue streaks on the page so I returned it. When the starter cartridges near empty I'll try some other 3rd party brands to see if I can avoid that big price tag on OEM toner.
Given some of the negative reviews, I opted for the Best Buy 4 year replacement policy just in case!

I have wanted a printer at home for a long time. This printer is IT. It prints and scans easily, in vibrant color and was relatively easy to set up. To clarify, I sometime struggle with technology. This printer included a step-by-step instructions and it was very easy to follow. I am beyond pleased with the ordering process, time of delivery, set up and quality of this printer. It is a great investment.

Great laser all-in-one printer! Overall set-up was easy. Was a little tricky figuring out the scan to PC feature, but after a quick download of the Push Scan app it worked like a charm! The scan to email feature is really nice. Copies, scans, and printed documents are very clear. Less expensive than Cannon or HP. I highly recommend this printer.

After reading the reviews on this printer it’s lived up to the good things said about it. I purchased the printer basically for the scanning feature. It has surpassed my expectations; especially scanning to the USB port! And the printer is really good as well. However, I have noticed that there are quite a few updates from Brother which can be annoying. It’s also a bit larger than expected but I would not trade it!

A Valiant but Expensive Effort

After 2 years of continuous use, I decided to leave a review. This printer is expensive to run. While the toner costs tend to run lower than some of Brothers' competitors, they are not low enough to justify the cost of the printer. Additionally, there are some annoying features: for example running out of a color toner will mean having to manually set each print job to mono, or else it won't print. The software/driver is buggy and even if you set it up to print in mono in settings, it doesn't stick. It is also not a very fast printer, and speeds, like the number of pages per toner, fall below that advertised speed.
The printer does print beautifully though, graphics are relatively crisp, and text is excellent. The scanning capabilities and ADF work extremely well for most basic office applications.
Overall this printer is well built and produces excellent scans and prints excellent documents. It is only held back by its cost to operate (something that could be said about most printers).
If you can afford a bit of a higher long-term cost of ownership, then I would say get this printer.
Otherwise, I would recommend a different machine.

I had bought The 2011 model of this MFC Laser printer and it gave us excellent, full function service, for 9 Trouble free years. Because of this I did not hesitate to purchase this current MFC 3770CDW All in one color laser printer. This printer is amazingly very quiet, when it prints. I highly recommend this printer especially since Best Buy had such an amazing price of $369.99 on it!

This is a great laser printer, works as expected, doesn't make too much noise. All the features and functionalities are great I can upload directly to Google cloud or other cloud services I can print by sending the email directly to the printer as well. It only works off of 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi frequency, it will not work on a 5 GHz band. I'm glad I purchase this printer.

Easy set up, great color, has all necessary function for a fine home color printer scanner. Laser is so much better than inkjet. Inkjet cartridges dry out and clog the printhead resulting in a "dead" printer. Laser color cartridges don't dry out even if the printer is seldom used. While the laser is more expensive upfront, it's less expensive than replacing "dead" inkjet printers.
