This printer has all the features my family needs: print, scan, copy, and fax. It can automatically print on both sides of the paper and can automatically copy 2 sided to 2 sided. I have not used the scan and fax features yet but expect these will work similarly to my Brother B&W laser printer from 2012.

This has to be the easiest printer to setup and configure that I have ever owned. I had it out of the box, setup, connected to my wireless network and printing/scanning within 30 minutes. I have gone through a series of test prints and scans and all is working perfectly. I will report back after some extended use.

This printer does everything and does it well. I wouldn't use it for photos (the marketing lit says so) but for everything else: document and label printing, faxing, scanning, it can't be beat. Don't know yet about cost of ownership. Very nice design, easy to set up, good documentation, good web site for downloads, and easy-to-use menu system. Look out, though, it's heavy.

Brother's MFC printers are workhorses that are easy to use. High quality printing & scanning is a breeze. Setup, changing toner or drums is very straightforward. I've probably bought/recommended 10 units over the years. You won't go wrong buying any of this series.

    Brother MFC-L3770CDW 'All-In-One'

A new model, the Brother MFC-L3770CDW is an 'All-In-One' Color Digital LED that prints, scans, copies and operates as a fax machine. The product utilizes a touch screen liquid crystal display and has 512 MB of memory. The equipment prints/copies in monochromatic or in color, either one- or two-sided. Besides just being an 'All-In-One', its versatility is also expressed by being designed for different types of paper and sizes (plain, bond, thin, thick, recycled and glossy) and various types of paper weights between 16-43 lbs. The ADF (automatic document feeder) can hold up to 50 sheets with the paper having an average weight of 20 lb. In addition to the ADF, there are also three other paper input sources: A Multi-Purpose Tray (MP tray), a Manual Feed Slot, and a Standard Paper Tray. The Multi-Purpose and Manual Feed trays can be adjusted for various types, sizes and weights of paper or envelopes, and each will hold up to 30 sheets of plain paper that averages 20 Lbs. Both trays easily handle paper of varying weights between 16-43 lbs. without jamming, and both print well on various media, including label sheets and envelopes. The standard paper tray can hold up to a whopping 250 sheets of paper and offers the most versatility for different sizes of paper. The printer is very quiet; however, with that beings said, the equipment can operate producing even lower decibels by switching the machine to the quiet mode. Like the copy function, it also prints one- and two-sided at 25 pages per minute, and automatically scans, sends and receives faxes two-sided. The fax can hold up to 200 addresses and has a memory transmission of up to 500 pages. The toner cartridges correspond to the CMYK print system and by the Brother MCF-L3770CDW's design and specifications, I expect the printer to have a lower running/maintenance cost than other models that I have looked at purchasing. The resolution is good on both prints and scans, and good on faxes. The 'All-In-One' interfaces with LAN, Wireless LAN, USB and for Android users, NFC. You can wirelessly print and scan or have direct access to this equipment from a tablet or smart phone. The machine creates document that are compatible with pdf, jpeg, prn and tiff file extensions, and has another feature that allows the user to access cloud storage options through DropBox and Google Drive, it also allows for the user to create shortcuts for frequently used functions. It took a great deal of effort and a tremendous amount of time to install and set up this printer/scanner/copier/fax on my computer. I was very discouraged as to "if" I was even going to be able to use the printer. It took no time at all to install the Brother's 'i-scan & print' app on my iPhone and iPad, and no time at all to begin using the printer through this method. I determined that it was my computer's operating system, fire walls, and virus protection that cause all the trouble with installing the software and necessary drivers on my computer. I would suggest being sure that your operating system is up to date, disabling your fire wall and virus protection just for the time it takes to install the drivers on your computer, and then re-establish the firewall connection. In short, there is very little print media needed in a small office that the MFC-L3770CDW cannot handle. Its design makes it possible to make many types of documents in-house and economically; including, flyers, reports and marketing materials. I am a small business and expect to get years of use out of this printer. I would definitely recommend it for home or small office use.

    High Quality Wireless Multifunctional Printer

The Brother MFC-L3770CDW is a high-end, wireless, multifunction printer designed to operate in a mixed home or small business environment. The device works with Windows, Mac, and Linux computers as well as IOS and Android portable devices. It includes the following unique features: - Touch display control panel - Color duplex printing, scanning, and copying - NFC printing and scanning - Fax capabilities - Access to cloud storage options like Dropbox and Google drive The device was very easy to set up. After unboxing and plugging it in, I went directly to the touch display panel where I entered my information for my wireless network. It quickly connected and from that point I was able to print wirelessly without the installation of any other drivers from my Windows 10 and Mac 10.13 notebooks, my IPhone 7 Plus, my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and my 2017 IPad. Brother also offers additional drivers and programs on their website, but they were not necessary for the device to work properly. The printer is rated at approximately 25 pages per minute. Although I did not test the speed, the color printing and scanning seemed very fast and quiet. Print quality was also excellent. The device does NFC print and scanning. Touching the phone to the MFC-L3770CDW opens up the Brother IPrint and Scan application. I tested this with my Note 8 phone and was impressed with the results. I highly recommend the MFC-L3770CDW for anyone looking for a high quality, multifunctional printer that is both economical and easy to use.

The Brother MFC-L3770CDW Wireless Color All-In-One Printer is a replacement for an HP Color Laser All-in-One that suffered a colossal paper jam it would not recover from. Service availability was non-existent and the although the jam was cleared, the error message did not rendering the printer useless. The Brother printer has been in use in my small office for nearly 2 months with not a single jam - sends and receives faxes like a pro - print quality both in color and B&W has been top notch. This printer is connected to our office Wi-Fi and prints from anywhere in the office or surrounding area - as well as from my Android Smartphone with the Brother iPrint&Scan app. Scans have been crystal clear and easy to manage. All in all - very happy with the Brother MFC-L3770CDW.

    Good Entry Level Laser Printer

The printer is easy to set up, including wireless printing. I print wireless from windows 10 and my iphone, and it has been very reliable in connecting. It prints with good speed, including double sided pages, once it warms up and starts the print job. I only gave 4 stars as full page photo print could be crisper and sharper. It is a great entry level laser printer for most other print jobs and excels with pages of text and color images throughout the page. Scanning to the PC is also easy to do with the Brother iPrint&Scan software that is included. Please note -- I did receive this item free in exchange for a fair/honest review as part of the Best Buy Tech Insider Network. Everything written above is my honest opinion of the product.
