Excellent machine. Works smooth, perfect and fast.

This is a upgrade printer for another Brother printer and I am very happy with it. I especially like the fact that I can now feed multiple sheets in the bypass tray rather than have to feed single sheets.

Great printer and fairly compact. Color is of good quality.

We replaced an HP laser with this one because the HP quit connecting to wifi after about 4 years of use. Its been a solid performer for the last month of use! I recommend it.

Have had it a couple weeks. Had to address some minor issues (color correction on copies, paper wrinkling), but so far so good. We'll see how the toner cost stacks up against my previous inkjet ink cost over time.

Best printer I've ever had. Way more features than I'll ever use

While the printer is an overall good product, there are a few issues. One, the printer has a tendency to curl the paper during printing Second, when sending multiple files to be printed, it seems to have limited memory to deal with this.

Like the printer for the most part. Does not get 5 stars because there are some compatibility issues between printer software and drivers and Windows 11. Brother is blaming Microsoft. However, it is their software/drivers. Feel they have the responsibility to update their software.

An inexpensive laser printer that is very versatile along with scan and copy capability. I don't use the fax function. It produces very good quality output.

Store didn't have any ink 229 XL for this printer.

Very, very heavy, and the place to grab the paper is blocked by the control panel so it's hard to get it out. In addition, the scan to print app is VERY outdated, which is primarily why I returned it. I settled on the HP Office Jet Pro9130 Series. So far it's pretty good - definitely smaller and lighter than the Brother. I'm not super happy with the auto-feeder scanner since it only takes a few pages at a time and if the pages are too crisp and stuck together it won't separate them, which results in additional scanning.

Very happy with this printer and its features. Works better than old epson.

I cannot make the printer connect to my desk computer. I want .pdf documents mailed but cannot get them into the computer.

I had high hopes for this printer. The second day I was using it to print my business labels. It started leaving a dark red line down the center of every label. I followed all the prompts to try to get it to stop doing that without any luck I will be returning it this week.

Works great. Like the wired and wireless options. Timely shipping.

On balance over the ten months we have had this printer, it has worked less than it has not worked. It repeatedly refuses to connect to our computers over wifi. I have been able to fix this a few times after several hours of trying everything, but as of today, nothing is working. And guess what - the warranty is apparently only ten months; it expired two days ago. What a piece of junk. Don't throw your money away on it.

Do not buy this printer. It is slow and blows through ink even when printing mostly black and white documents. The multipurpose (envelope) tray is too small and wrinkles the envelopes when printing. The printer periodically defaults to double sided print when neither the printer or the document is set to double sided. This is the worst printer I’ve ever owned. I will be getting rid of it and replacing it with a different brand.

We are a small church that prints 35 bulletins weekly. We bought this printer in April 2025 and it died in July They gave us a new one but that voids your extended warranty. Got the new one 8/2025 but they made me purchase another exted. warranty. Printer is broken again Oct. 2025. BUYER BEWARE!
