I wanted to like this printer however I am very disappointed. When the printer works, it is amazing. However I find that every 2 days it disconnects from my wifi and I have to do a whole reboot and troubleshooting to get it to connect again. This is not what I had in mind for a $700 printer. Unfortunately these issues became blatant after the return window or else it would be going right back to the store.

connecting to home wireless was a snap. Takes a few second to warm up to begin printing, but then prints quickly. Easy scanning directly to computer over wireless connection.

Reliable affordable multifunction color laser printer, scanner, copier and fax - ideal for my small business home office

At first I LOVED this printer. UNTIL I had to deal with the cartridges. 1--I needed to print for a client appt, and even though Cyan still showed 20% level, the printer said it was empty and wouldn't print - even thought I changed it to just B/W. I even took the cartridge out and shook it. 2-My CMY all showed the same level as Cyan, but Cyan had the alert symbol. I paid for a cyan cartridge to be overnighted since that was the only one the system marked. 3-Cyan came, I changed it and it still wouldn't print - now it was Yellow. Levels hadn't changed since the day before and nothing had been printed. My budget is really tight right now, but I ordered the 4 pack thinking it's going to do the same thing with Magenta. So I replaced the yellow and am back home, trying to print and it won't tell me what it's not happy with, it just says my toner is low. I spent $400 on freaking cartridges (Brother so no to mess up the warranty) and the darn thing STILL WON'T PRINT. I can't take it to BB because it's too heavy and since they re-did the Total Tech, I can't get a tech to come help me and every time I call the 800# it's some foreigner on the other end who screws up my printer settings for the office. So if I had it to do over, I would NOT have bought this printer and I certainly would NOT have bought it from BB.

use for home/school. great when it works. was connected to network then disconnected for some reason. the issue might be on our end, not the printer end. otherwise scan and copy work great even if the network issue is there.

Love the quality of the print as well as the speed. WiFi connection was simple. Scan to computer works well also.

I had a Brother laser printer, scanner and fax all in one machine. Never had an issue with it. Purchased in 2012 and now was time to update. The new ones quality of print is way above what I expected!

scan and prints really well. wireless would frequently say offline even when power was on at all times. Works better when wired. All computers for my company were able to print. I would say I have above average computers skills but advanced or a computer networking degree.

Perfect printer in every way. This model is also cheap to run.

IMPORTANT DETAIL for us was that it was one that we found that still has a legal size glass bed scanner. Most multi function printers only have letter size glass bed scanners but can scan legal through the feeder/bypass. We handle some old fragile legal size documents sometimes where that isn’t an option so we really had to hunt for this detail. Other than that, it’s a solid multi function printer. This printer is connected by WiFi to 3 computers in our small office. I use the Scan to file a lot and it usually has no problems.

Installation was straight-forward. Prints and copies look good. Duplex color copies worked and look good. They are the same size as the originals. Yes, the printer is heavy but that is expected. I am pleased so far.

Was tired of driving to the library or another copy center to copy, scan and fax. This has been a great printer and was very easy to setup through wireless router and to all the computers in the house.

Extremely easy to setup. We quickly hooked this printer to the network and had it installed on several PCs in no time. Everyone has been extremely happy with this new printer and the cost per print will save us a lot of $$.

I love this printer It's super fast and super-efficient. I can print multiple documents without any delays.

Great all in one machine easy to use and the quality of out put is very good. Great size screen and color resolution of copies is good. Good price point. I would recommend it.

We use the Brother - MFC-L8900CDW Wireless Color All-in-one Laser Printer for our business. It is a workhorse.

This printer is awesome when it decides it wants to be online. It likes to go offline and the only way to fix it is to power it down and power it back up.
