Small footprint. Fast and great print quality. As with every new printer, the toner didn't last long.

I purchased and still use an older model (MFC-L5850DW). The other model which is nearly identical to this MFC-L5900DW has be great to me the last couple years I used it with no issues. I purchased this one to replace an inkjet, multipurpose printer which did have issues at another home office. In fact, I have gone through several inkjet printers over the years with the issue of them eventually clogging up and becoming useless. Inkjet printers are a complete waste of money. I have always had great experience with Brother laser printers.

So far so good. The printer seems to work as advertised. Still trying to get it to recognize when to print on letter sized paper and legal sized paper when called for in the print job, It may require more technical support to get the unit to function as wanted.

Just what I wanted.. a fast and efficient all around printer.

I’ve had many Brothers before and this one works very nicely. One month in a no flaws that I can see. Did not go for the highest end this time and this one does what it should. With 14” platen, scanning, copying and air printing work fine right out of the box. (I use Adobe for scanning so haven’t check out other methods yet.)

Excellent copies for a small office or even a home office. Can make copies, scans, faxes. Easy to use. Separate toner and drum but cheaper in the long run to use than printers that use just ink cartridges.

I use it for my office at home. Printing is not an issue but setting it up to scan is a quite complicated. Although connected to the same network and i can print no problem, the scanner doesn't seem to recognize my computers. I had get an IT guy to help out and even with that, I still could not get advance functions like double sided scanning. A bit disappointed but for it's price, it's okay.

Excellent printer, durable, and long lasting. It has handled a fairly large paper print out turn over without any issues so far.

love the printer because of the volume I’m able to print with the -850 toner. We print a lot at our business and the printer is able to keep up.

Brother is a very reliable workhorse and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Easy to setup, integrated fax is a plus. Works well in my small office.

The serviced I received from my local store was so bad I ended up having to order 2 laser printers from Amazon. The Brother printers work great, but from now on I will never use best Buy.

Toner wasn't working properly Tried calling seller - no response

Very nice machine, quick and quiet. Very easy to learn how to use.

The product is good. Just every time we print we have to completely shut it off and restart it in order to print. Printing is backed up if we do not do this. Once restarted all the backed up prints will all come out.

FOUR YEARS this printer has been in our lives and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance. It is reliable, not fussy, and does what I ask it to do without any hitches. It is by far the best piece of equipment I have ever owned. Need to print on a smaller piece of paper? No problem. Scan to a USB? Sure. Print on heavy stock, easy! You know it must be good if I would bother to write this four years later. I am regularly praising it. Prints both sides with ease. Has never been jammed up. It's the best!

It is fast and reliable! Nice quality product and prints fairly quick.
