I was faced with the expense of new cartridges plus a new image unit. I began to explore alternatives and zeroed in on the Brother printer I had seen on TV. I needed a bit more functions, so I stepped up to model 4150 CDN. It is laser with networking, photo, wireless printing capabilities, two paper trays and all the features I feel I need. The printer new, was less than purchasing the replacement parts I needed for my Xerox.
