They are VERY EXPENSIVE, and do not give a long enough life. I am also experiences "marks" on my print-outs that is a problem. I do not recommend this product, and regret having made the purchase.

Stated page yields for genuine Brother cartridges are based on the ISO testing standards. The number of pages that can be printed with a cartridge is affected by several factors, including paper size, number of pages per print job, amount of print on each page, font size, and print content (graphics, charts, etc.). Print jobs with large text fonts, graphics, charts, and/or large amount of solid coverage (black or any given color) will use much more toner and will shorten the life of the toner cartridge.
If you have any questions about your Genuine cartridge, please contact Brother customer service at 877-276-8437. They will also be able to assist you with the marks on the print outs.

When you replace each color toner cartridge one time you have paid for another printer. Outrageous price. This is why I could not give 5 stars.

Brother strongly recommends that customers use only Brother Genuine cartridges for optimal results. Using non-Brother supplies may affect the hardware performance, print quality and machine reliability. The Brother limited warranty may not apply to any problem that is caused by the use of third-party supplies.
Did not ship as advertised

Three days after no delivery I checked website and it now said it was delayed and would not arrive for another two weeks even though the website still said it was in stock. Website would not allow me to cancel. I had to make two phone calls to finally get the ordered cancelled. Two days later the cancelled order arrived. I took back to store. If you are relying on Best Buy to have your product and deliver it as advertised you may be very disappointed. I would suggest to find a more reliable on line retailer.

While the initial investment might be a bit more, it is well worth it. I can also recommended you get Brother branded toner, as it brings a lot of peace of mind.
