Heck, a one page poem might take me a couple dozen iterations before I'm satisfied—I won'd say done, because no poem is ever finished. Anyway, it's imperative for me to have a good printer, one that is affordable to use, and that means having a good toner cartridge as well. This one is great.

I have tried the generic brands in the past and usually found those to be unreliable as far as quality of print and how many pages I can get out of one.

This time there were none. Went on line and made the purchase. It was quick, easy, and fee delivery. Was kept notified every step of the way through delivery at my front door. What more can you ask. Easy to install, lasts a long time, and free shipping to return old cartridge. Great service for a quality product.

I thought I could get away from overpriced ink if I just finally switched from inkjet to laser. The printer industry one-upped me and put computer chips into each cartridge, so even if there is still toner in the cartridge, the chip can tell the printer otherwise, and refuse to work. For the cartridge itself, it's easy to change and gives me a good quality print. I'll still buy them, because what choice do I have?

The print life of Brother toner cartridges is based upon their ability to continue to achieve guaranteed print quality. This is the reason why the machine will tell you to replace the toner cartridge even though their is still some toner left inside the cartridge. If you choose to continue printing with the toner cartridge beyond its estimated print life, you may do so by enabling Continue Mode. We have troubleshooting steps available for this issue. Go to our website, click Contact, and then click Support Center. Enter your model number to display information and FAQs for your product. Search for “Continue Mode” in the FAQ section.
