This printer does everything i need it to do for school, very good prints come out, quick and very sturdy, Thus printer is very easy to fix any jams ( which occur rarely) and this has saved me the headache of scanning and faxing things for work or school. High accessibility lets me print things at my leisure.

Over the years I have had different brands of printers (HP, Epson, Cannon). This Brother printer is by far my favorite. Not only is print quality great, it’s also easy to use and the ink cartridges are less expensive.

Great quality printer. Images/copies come out great. Easy to use. Needed a printer to make several copies for children's school work now that they are at home. This printer works perfect! Big plus, the ink is cheap!

Bought this printer as it was highly recommended and liked the inexpensive brother ink refills. Setup was easy and didn't require installing any large software suites for basic usage, a nice contrast to some other manufacturers. The printer seemed well made and the feature set great for the price. Unfortunately it seemed no matter what settings I chose for print quality or the print source I couldn't get the printer to print anything other than grainy and faded pictures. Even after installing Brother's software suite and editing the color profiles to print in high quality I couldn't overcome this. This may have been specific to the printer I received, but it ultimately was a dealbreaker. I returned this printer and purchased a color laser in it's place. For the extra money spent I've been very happy so far with the other printer. If you're looking for a printer for basic text and are ok with subpar color graphics this is a great price and has some welcome features (cloud applications etc). Just wasn't the right printer for me.

This printer is solid and it works! I like that you can connect it to your laptop wirelessly so that removes the hassle of cords. It is bulky but for the price point it is perfect for a student or apartment,

I like it. Changing out the ink is easy. Set up was fairly easy but just feels like an old system. Felt like I was back in the late 90’s early 00’s on that small screen. I think if they made it bigger it would have felt better

Good enough copier for the price and functions it came with. It's a copier definitely meant for home use and not for a busy office. Pro: Got it on sale for $89. This alone made the purchase worth it -After market replacement ink is inexpensive (around $7). Generic ink replacement for other similarly priced copiers are in the $20-$30 range-Automatic top paper feeder makes copying or scanning big amounts of papers very easy. Con: Copying speed quite slow -Rather difficult to set up because had a very difficult time downloading software and drivers from Brother's site -Scan functions needed a lot of reading and figuring out before able to use scan. All in all, for the price and cost of use, this copier is hard to beat.

For sure his price point printers don’t get much better than this. So easy to set up. I was printing remotely with the iPrint app with 10 mins of hooking up. Highly recimmmebd this especially over this useless clCannon I got of Amazon less than yes ago

I am very pleased with the purchase of my Brother All-In-One. The printing results are very vivid. It was fairly easy to set up. I hope to be able to utilize this printer for a very long time!

I think this is an amazing printer for the price! I’ve printed over 100 pages and still haven’t ran out of the starter pack ink that came with it. It’s slow receiving the signal to print but once it starts it prints pages pretty fast. Definitely happy with this purchase!

Bought this printer for the ability to scan multiple pages at once. We've had other Brother printers and found them to be reliable and easy to use. This printer has been the same. I like the size and the controls. Nice bang for the buck.

I enjoy the ease of use and wireless printing compatibility. I use the Brother MFC-J497DW with all my Mac devices as well as Dell, Microsoft, and IBM devices. Very functional product for a reasonable price.

So far this printer has been a breeze! The set-up was super easy and connecting to WiFi was seemless. We went from box to printing in about 30 minutes. The print quality is very good. The only thing it is missing is a paper catcher for the printed documents.

I needed a simple and inexpensive printer to replace my old Epson printer. The Brother was easy to set up and allowed printing from mobile devices. The few times that I have used it, the copies came out nice and clear. No problems so far.

First fax machine I bought in a very long time. Im surprised for the money how well it works! Fast! Nice printer and scanner, WIFI, easy to use no jams and plenty of option. I really glad the BB guy told me to get this one. I solidly love it.

The best printer that we have ever owned! We bought this when our HP printer completely shutdown and it has been the best decision ever to buy this printer. It is incredibly user-friendly and the quality of printing is amazing.

It was easy to set up out of the box. Software included was easy to install on PC. Printings speed and quality as advertised. The wireless connection is a bonus to not have to be at the printer. I would recommend this as a great first buy.

I am a fan of brother printers, I am the one in charge of ordering supplies to our office and you can never go wrong with Brother printers, they last a long time, and this one is not heavy, compact and easy to use.

Even though the written or online directions looked complicated, the printer was easy to set up. I liked the small profile and easy to read display. Works like a charm - Love this little printer that does the job.

I like that the three colored ink slots are separate. I've yet to do photos. Easy to set up. Was on sale. All ink should be cheaper, you can buy a new cheap printer for the price of ink refill. It does not take up much room. Wireless connection to computer works fine.
