Customers are saying

Customers praise the keyboard quality, battery life, and ease of use of this wireless keyboard. They also appreciate the sturdy hinge and improved stability it offers compared to the original keyboard. While some find it adds weight to their Surface Pro, the secure fit and smooth typing experience are frequently highlighted as positive aspects. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the concerns about added weight.

This changed how I use my surface completely - I am 100% more efficient and could not be happier with this keyboard. I use it daily and have owned it for over a month and just charged it for the first time. It is great quality and I don't know why i waited so long to purchase it - well worth the money!!!!

I have been looking for something like this to replace the sort of flimsy Microsoft key board on my Pro 4 Surface, and Pro 6. This just perfect with so much better feel. It does add weight and covers the micre SD card slot, but it's so easy to slip the keyboard off to access the slot. The ingenious design holds the Pro solidly, yet easily removes when necessary.

Brydge turns this already great 2-in-1 into a fully functional laptop. Solid build, great backlit keys and multi-view angles. Fully protects the pro’s screen. Have had it for about a month and haven’t had to charge it with use everyday. Very pleased with the purchase. Will update if it warrants it.

    So Far, VERY Good

When I had to replace my 6 year old Surface Pro, I decided to get the best one possible, and have it as a replacement for my laptop. So, instead of the flimsy keyboard, I went with the more sturdy model, one that, when on the tablet, would make it more like a laptop, and, technically, can be used separately from the tablet itself if I want to hook up a monitor to it. It was a little difficult to set up at first (hence the four-star review; even with instructions, it was a bit difficult to figure out, and took an hour for what should've taken 10 minutes). However, that might have been just me, and even with that, it is a very good investment.

Worked out of the box with no effort. The fitment was tight as it should be. Also lined up nice and the color blends fine with the tablet. Charge holds up for a few hours of light use. Keys are soft and good feel for movement. I wanted something like a laptop and NOT a kickstand, this is the keyboard.

I was a little skeptical at first, bought this for my wife, who hates the Microsoft Surface keyboard, its a bit flimsy. This solved that problem. The Surface slides into the hinges and is very secure. She has been using it for about a month now and there is no sign of the hinges wearing down. They are as solid as day one. The auto connect is amazing as soon as you open it up it connects right away and you can begin using it. A month so far and still no need to charge it. The lighted keys are great for working in the dark or with lights down. I might just by another!

The only issue I have has with my Surface pro this past year has been difficulty using the device for work in my lap. This keyboard solves this logistical issue, has a long batter life, and as a bonus has memory for extra storage. Only minus, adds weight.

Battery life has been impressive, keyboard is comfortable, really makes your Surface more of a laptop. Easy to remove/attach as well. Only real drawback is that it's very heavy, so if you like how lightweight your Surface is, you'll def be giving that up when you're using this.

This is a great companion to the Surface Pro 4. It fits perfectly and has a solid feel. The screen is held in your preferred position, even when typing on your lab. The keys also have a good feel. I am very pleased with the purchase

This is really nice looking metallic body keyboard which although makes it little heavy but it may be required to balance the surface pro. Bluetooth connection is quick and did not observe any lags. Also, there is no other option in market similar to this which can convert your surface pro into laptop. Overall a nice keyboard but be careful at the hinge area not to hit it anywhere accidentally or drop the keyboard as the hinge is attached to the keyboard with molded plastic internally which will break the joint making keyboard useless. This is major design flaw as externally the keyboard looks metallic but internally rotating hinge is connected with hard plastic mold. :(

Super easy to setup and transition to use is -- nothing! It really does transfer a lowly tablet to an easy to mini-laptop. The only downfall would be the weight it brings to my surface, however I can’t imagine going back to the normal keyboard.

Like the quality of this keyboard and the fact it's not plastic. I've only charged the keyboard one time since I got it and I use it everyday. So it's lasted about 4 weeks so far.

Durable, types well, track pad wasn't good, heavy. Platinum doesn't look good with platinum surface. Recommend black if surface is platinum. Battery lasted days not months. Bluetooth connection wasn't 100% but it was good. Bluetooth adds radiation to the laptop. Turns surface into a true laptop with no need to use kickstand. Saw better prices elsewhere. I prefer the Microsoft keyboard.

I like the keyboard that normally comes with the surface pro but it is inconvienent to use the computer for typing on anything but a hard surface. The Brydge solves this problem as it essentially makes the surface pro into a true laptop. I had some difficulty connecting the bluetooth to the surface pro but once connected it works perfectly.

I really wanted this to work. Out of the box the keyboard is heavy, when attached the surface pro 4 it made it look like a tough book. The keys felt good when typing the track pad was just ok. The killer thing for me was the key board would not connect until I was logged in. Problem was and there may be setting I could have adjusted, you couldn't use the keyboard at the credentials screen.
