Best hardware keyboard for the Surface Pro 3 & 4 Pretty much this is "Poor mans" that's me... version of a Surface Pro Book. It gets you 90% of the Surface Pro Book experience at a fraction of the cost. If you have a SP3 it will extend its life at least another 2yrs...buy it and enjoy.

This keyboard works extremely well and would recommend it to anyone however be cautious of the keyboard edges; they're sharp in some places. Aside from the edges, they keyboard basically converts your surface pro into a surface book!

This is a great keyboard. So accurate. Great battery life. Set up is simple. Hook up and sync w bluetooth. Did I mention battery life is amazing. Unreal. I'm actually surprised that apple didn't create this type of keyboard instead of their janky flimsy one. Brydge is a solid case and works like an actual laptop w my surface.

This key board allowed me to greatly expand the use of my surface when traveling and working in a Non-office environment.

I bought this for my Surface Pro 4 to replace the Microsoft cover, which let my "laptop" fall over. The stand on the Surface, when used with the standard keyboard, isn't too convenient to use on my lap while watching TV.This Brydge turns the keyboard into the stand and is more lap friendly The penalty is that the Brydge 12.3 is a bit of a heifer, weight wise. The setup and battery life have been very good. So, if you use your Surface on your lap most of the time, like me, this is a very good alternative.

This is the best keyboard for a Surface Pro. It is more durable than other keyboards. It does require charging but it is worth it.

It is the perfect keyboard to go with the surface! Love that it adds protection when it is folded. It does add weight to the surface, but well worth it.

I currently own a Microsoft Surface Pro laptop and could not wait to try out the Brydge 12.3 Wireless Keyboard. Once I unpacked the item setup was quick and easy. This unit feels like a premium keyboard and I had no issues typing. There was no lag time in getting used to or adjusting to the keyboard. The touch and springiness of the keyboard responded well and felt great. Palm-rests were located in a good area and felt adequate.The trackpad is a little smaller then regular sized keyboards, not to worry, as the functionality was not hampered in any way shape or form. The trackpaid has very smooth functioning and great responsiveness. No issue here. I've never owned a computer that had a back-light capability, so this unit made my day. This unit has LED backlit keys which makes it possible to use your computer in no light, or low light rooms. For those users who use a laptop computer whose keys are not backlit, you will certainly appreciate this feature. No more running to turn on the room lights to use your computer. NICE! Very Nice! The keyboard weighs just under one and a half pounds. Once the computer and keyboard are attached, you feel as if your unit is one piece. There was no looseness that was detected by me. The keyboard firmly grips your Microsoft Surface Pro and provides excellent stability. The unit once placed on a flat surface (such as ta table) stays put. Absolutely no cheap feeling here. The construction of the keyboard seems very solid. Pure quality. You will lose some minor rotational distance when the keyboard is attached to your Surface Pro (160 degrees is the advertised viewing angel) but that is to be expected. I really don't think this is a downside, as there is more than enough viewing angle to use your computer comfortably. Are you wondering about battery life? Three months is the advertised length and it's rechargeable. WOW! I really have no complaints with the Brydge and I'm quite happy to own it. It is a welcomed edition to any user that wants a sophisticated keyboard with great responsiveness. You'll be very happy to own this product, as I highly recommend it.

I wanted a sturdier keybord than the standard that comes with the surface pro. This is a great product that essentially turns the surfac into a laptop. I had some difficulty conecting the bluetooth to the computer but once the conection was established it worked perfectly.

I had a soft keyboard with surface before. Couldn't get used to the extra pressure needed to type my words. The Brydge is rigid, makes my surface like a laptop and provides protection when folded. Love it

Gotta have a keyboard...wish these came as a bundle. They work perfectly. So can't complain except that they are add-ons and ons and ons...

Works well, battery life is good. Screen mounts are a bit snug, but you can adjust as needed.

I have been waiting for this keyboard for over a year for my surface pro 3, it did not disappoint. The trackpad is a little sensitive but other than that, it is a perfect keyboard!!

An extra $99 and my surface is now a laptop...with a rigid keyboard. No more cardboard, pho-keyboard!

This keyboard turns the surface pro 4 into a solid laptop. It is well designed and the layout very intuitive. Hands down the best keyboard I have owned for my surface.

I originally had the keyboard that came with my Surface Pro and my computer was hard to use when it wasn't on a hard surface. This keyboard is great and makes my Surface Pro just like any other laptop now.

I have used an assortment of aftermarket keyboards for my SP4 and iPads over the past year and the Brydge 12.3 Bluetooth Keyboard is the best product to date. The overall build quality is the first thing you notice when taking it out of the box. The fit and finish is really well done, my Surface fit in snugly and lined up perfectly. Next, the setup was very straight forward, taking a very short time to pair to my device. And you're off and running! I really love the feel of the keys, the layout is nice and the trackpad works flawlessly and provides support for gestures. Pros: Great build and quality Ease of paring and setup Better stability than OEM keyboard Backlight option Screen angle adjustment Cons: Added weight Overall I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish with the Brydge 12.3 keyboard and would recommend it to any Surface Pro 3 or 4 users.

I really like it... when u charge it, it stays for a long time... the only downfall for me is every time I have to close and open it separately from the computer itself

For $129, my surface pro 4 became a surface book with the caveat that the keyboard is detachable from the tablet. Very responsive interplay-much better than surface pro 4 keyboard!
