Gritty Acoustic Blues!

While most of Buddy Guy's albums are electric blues in the Chicago style which sometimes even veers into R&B and Soul influences, this album was performed in the older acoustic country southern blues style of 1930-50s. The guitar playing and vocals are gritty in the best way and the sound quality on this vinyl is superb. Worthy of the awards it garnered, this album is a must buy for anybody who enjoys and collects old fashioned real deal blues music!
