Using this to cook roast and other meats has made her happy due to the way the meat is cooked to perfection, and quicker than the oven.

It has most of the automatic programmed cycles you would want, but not "Melt or Soften." We were apprehensive about the timer dial, but now appreciate it more.

The only thing I can say that it looks good in our kitchen. Bought on 10 Sep 20 and delivered/installed on 12 Nov 20.

GE couldn't get a repair guy out here for a month, but he didn't show up. Instead, we got a call saying "Sorry I got so backed up today. I'll have to reschedule." But the earliest they can get here is in 3 weeks. Assuming someone shows up and fixes it on the same day, the microwave will have been broken longer than we've owned it. There's no excuse for this.

Still don't trust this to cook

I don't think the power level is right and I need to call a technician out to check it.

Posted .Hi there, thank you for your review. Sorry to hear that your convection cooking capabilities aren't working as well as they should. You're only able to change the power levels for Cook Time, Time
Defrost or Combination Fast Cook. Also, it's normal for the oven temperature to fluctuate during cooking. The cooking element cycles on and off to maintain the oven temperature at the desired setting. If you have other questions or concerns, know that we're always happy to help. Loud fan and a lot of steps!

If I had known how it operated, I would not have purchased it. A lot of buttons to push, sometimes 5 just to use the timer! It doesn't seem to run smoothly, it sounds like it isn't seated right on the turn mechanism but it is. Could be something wrong with the unit.
