I have no idea how old the previous dishwasher was but this is a VERY nice change of pace. TONS of room, super quite, and it looks good...for a dishwasher. We had no idea how long the previous dishwasher took to complete a cleaning cycle but with the count down timer that displays on the top of the door we were a little shocked at 3+ hours. However, we usually set a delayed start and let it run at night so no one is actually watching the clock. I also like the fingerprint resistant finish...very handy with six year old and 42 year old sticky fingers in the kitchen. My only complaint is I still have to actually get family members to put dishes in rather than leaving that up to Dad.

Overall Good, But Room for Improvement

One downside is that the racks aren't as adjustable as I'd like. Some bowls, especially larger ones, don’t fit securely or can't stand properly, which can be frustrating when trying to load the dishwasher efficiently. Additionally, while most of the dishes come out clean, there are occasional issues with food particles getting stuck on other dishes. Sometimes, small bits of food from one dish end up stuck on another, which means not everything comes out as spotless as you'd expect. Despite these minor flaws, it's still a solid dishwasher that gets the job done in most cases. A few tweaks to the design would make it even better!

Posted .For help with the dishes not clean concern, we recommend running the Hi-Temp Wash option. This option increases the temperature to help clean heavily soiled dishes and will increase the cycle time by 20 to 50 minutes. Option may be turned On or Off during the wash cycle. This option will also improve dry performance on the Normal cycle. Thanks for the feedback about the racks, that we'll be sure to forward to our design team.

It is rather slow and takes quite a while to cycle through the washing and drying process, but the end result is excellent. The wine glass feature is a bit goofy for us, we eliminated that and some of the plastic covers for knives, forks and spoons but maybe others can use them and at least they were available if wanted and easily modified.

(It didn’t make that noise the first 2x.) We only had it for 4 days before we exchanged it for a GE. It’s a great looking dishwasher though. It’s possible we just got a defective one. Overall, it does clean and dry really well.

Lots of options for any type of cleaning.

The silverware drawer is super convenient. Be aware, tall glasses cannot be placed in the top section if you have larger plates below...There is not enough room for large items on both the bottom and the middle rack if you have the silverware drawer installed.

Our New Cafe Dishwasher

I didn’t think I would find the third shelf useful but it turns our I fill it up each time I load the dishwasher. The operation is very quiet and the display very user friendly.
