It makes everything so easy (once you read through the instructions). Only con is that you can’t switch out the beans easily, so if you regularly switch between decaf and regular you may want to get one of the ones with a separate grinder. But I love that the espresso is done at the touch of one button. Then we steam our milk using the steamer wand. When you first turn it on, it will rinse out, so put a cup under both the main dispenser and the steamer wand. Small amount of liquid, but surprised us the first time. It’s so easy, and with a few syrup bottle purchases, it’s definitely saved us a ton of coffee house purchases!

It might not be the best if a lot of people will be using it. You will have to fill up water and remove waste often. Great unit for 2 people.

Beans don't go in the shoot without encouragement. It rinses every time so it is constantly out of water and you have to be conscious of which spicket it is coming out of. Now it is stuck on "descale" and it won't work at all

It’s great to learn that you’re enjoying the great espresso this machine makes, but our apologies to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the beans going into the shoot and the “descale” alert. We can certainly understand why you’d like some clarification on that, and we’d like to share some tips that will help! -- There are 2 main reasons why the beans may not be going down the shoot. First, if the beans are too oily, they will not slide freely into the grinder - make sure to avoid using oily beans if possible. Also, its possible that the internal coffee outlet could be blocked. In that case, be sure to clean the coffee grinder shoot. Instructions can be found on page 14 of your manual: https://files.bbystatic.com/IWW5IBxRg6UZIvbkYwfWkw%3D%3D/Owners%2BManual -- The manual also contains instructions on the simple Descaling Process on page 15. It is recommended to descale once a month or more depending on your water hardness. -- We hope this is informative and if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out anytime. We love the taste of the espresso that comes out of it. We make americanos easily and are perfecting our latte. We love the look in our remodeled pantry and couldn't be happier!

I love that I don't have to pound the espresso grounds out of the little cup or go through all the manual steps of getting that espresso shot. I just hit "mycup" and I get 2 espresso shots I can throw some milk in or froth some milk. Also, my kids are now spoiled because I make them frothy milk.

Flimsy steam wand

However, the steam wand is not good. Its flimsy, plus mine started spouting more water than needed during steaming and the problem never fixed even after descaling. I just returned the machine and got a breville impress.

Great coffee maker

It makes good americano, very flavorful. Expected more from expresso, it’s very basic so don’t expect much. The steam and froth option is a big plus. The wifi and app is a good add-on but it’s limited options and it’s not IoT so don’t expect a smart coffee maker.
