    At first i wanted to return this thing. I was using the double wall portafilter to try and dial in my espresso. Ended up trying the single wall portafilter and now i get a perfect cup every time.

    Not worth the extra expense for looks

    I'm glad I waited to review this. Upon set up with my first use the decorative end of the handle broke off with normal hand strength and use. They wanted me to box it back up and return it. (Instead of just sending a replacement part. Now with a couple months of use I find it wastes coffee fairly regularly saying it is over pressure when I am sure I have done nothing different from the last cup when I am making one for myself and one for my partner. Since I paid more for this because of it's looks I'd say don't waste the extra money on looks and just buy the one in your price range.

      Hi, thank you for leaving a review. We appreciate your comments on this Semi Automatic Espresso Machine. If you're getting a Overpressure error, this means the coffee grounds are too small, there are too many grounds, or the grounds are packed too tight in the portafilter. To fix, dispose of grounds, and try again by increasing the ground size, decreasing the dosage, or tamping the grounds with less pressure. More information can be found in the use and care manual.     Hopper broke right away

    Great coffee... at first. Then the hopper clogged right away. I was able to clean it, but the second time I tried to take the hopper off (less than 3 weeks of owning it) the hopper broke at the connection mechanism. Now I don't have a working machine. The connection is plastic and weak plastic at that. I didn't even try very hard to remove it. Maybe the beans were just too tough for the plastic? Ridiculous!

    Beautiful design and the app is cool, but not so great build. Hopper gets clogged easily and had to send it in within a month due to the machine leaking from the bottom.

    Great products. It does everything you need in an espresso machine. Also it has beautiful and elegant design to it. The only downside is the grinder seems to be kind of small.

    Its an ok semi automatic. But it has temperature issues, the water for the espresso is only about 150° when it should be closer to 195° leading to weak shots and rapidly cooling drinks. It claims you can adjust the water tmep in the app but no such feature exists.

    great machine, i enjoy using it and making coffee. but mainly the wife is happier so double win. it is kinda expensive. no issues whatsoever and we have been using it at least twice a day since we purchased. now wife wants all appliances from same Cafe series.

    Please stay away. Do not buy this machine it will stop grinding after the first week. I will be taking it back after 1 week of use. It is a problem and now I see online reviews that say they had the same problem.

    Coffee grinder lands more espresso outside than inside your portafilter. Even after calibrating. The steam wand heats milk fine but adds no texture or air to your milk. Ive been a barista for 4 years and maybe this model is faulty. Definetly issues to be aware of if you decide to buy this unit. Ended up exchanging for different machine.

    I used it about 5 times, the grinder stopped grinding. I cleaned it (it’s a pain to clean) and it still would not grind properly. A little after, it stopped making expresó, very little would come out. Took it back to Best Buy, nice looking but piece of junk.

    It makes Pretty good espresso BUUUTTTTTT it leaks from underneath and the grind timer is not super good either. It would be better to grind by weight and not time. Pretty sure we are going to contact tech services because it leaking all over the counter is kind of a big problem.

    The grinder stopped working after the third use. I cleaned it and tried everything to fix it. Nothing worked! Then, all of a sudden the espresso stopped working. I don’t recommend this machine to anyone.

    Used for about 2 weeks then grinder started having issues. Now it cannot get through a teaspoon of grounds with out getting clogged after cleaning. Also, the return option ended only 2 weeks after receiving.
