It has internal filtration, and is easy to program and using daily living. This was bought to replace a Technivorm, another high-end product that just wore out after 10 years. Mechanically it’s still worked, but the coffee just didn’t taste good anymore. The first pot with this coffee maker, both my wife and I noted how good it is.

Makes delicious coffee:) I am a coffee snob lol and love this and it’s so pretty in the kitchen! I descale itnonce a month to keep performance up! It does make a slight whistling noise but it doesn’t affect the performance

Great; don’t love the pourer

The pourer is not the best, it drips at the end of every pour and you have to take the lid off to pour the last bit of coffee.

Best drip coffee machine

The heavily insulated carafe removes the requirement of a warming plate under the carafe. This guarantees the coffee cannot burn and reduces the extent of stains inside the carafe. This has to be the most beautiful drip coffee machine on the market. Packaging was also a premium, it was like opening an elegant gift.

Then with WFH and shifting to all WFH I started ordering in nice beans and just doing pour over, but after years of doing it daily I was getting lazy. This machine tastes almost as good as a true pour over with barely no effort! It blew my mind that a drip machine can be this good.

I would set it to make 10 cups and it would stop brewing at 6 cups. Eventually I needed to push brew about 5 times to get one full pot. I read the manual and descaled as recommended throughout ownership but that did not seem to help.

Tough Set-Up

I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 because figuring out how to actually use it was tough. I set it aside for a month before I got the will power to try to set it to work again. Once I figured it out, of course, I have no issues but that first time around was way too difficult. Maybe a better instruction manual? Dunno.
