Don’t waste your money .

Up until now I loved this coffee maker. The descale light came on and after following the instructions I can’t get the descale light to turn off. I can’t even get the coffee maker to brew a normal cycle. I tried calling customer service and they are no help. They said my warranty has expired. So what do I do with a 1 year old $300.00 coffee maker that doesn’t work!

Posted .Hi there! Happy to hear that you're please with your unit overall. There is always going to be some level of coffee ground and oils that splash back onto the showerhead lid when the maximum level of coffee grounds is used. What you want to avoid is having the coffee grounds overflow into your coffee in the carafe. Here are a few causes for overflow, and some ways to avoid it: 1. Brew Basket Filter: Your coffee maker comes with a gold mesh basket filter in the brew basket insert. You can use a No. 4 paper filter instead, but using both the mesh filter and a paper filter will cause grounds to overflow into the basket insert or could splash coffee grinds and residue on the underside of the lid. 2. Coffee Grind: We recommend using a medium-grind coffee, when possible. A finer grind is more likely to lead to an overflow of coffee grounds. 3. Amount Used: We also recommend using the scoop that comes with your coffee maker, and use a flush level of grounds. Heaping scoops can lead to too much coffee grounds and can potentially cause overflows. - We hope this helps and that you're staying safe. -Michael@Cafe

Overall look is good, control panel seems to be uneven, flushed on top and inset towards the bottom - seems strange if they designed it this way. App is temperamental, a few times it will not connect so I couldn't start the brew from our bedroom - also, few times would say it didn't start but would actually start. Thermo Pot is very annoying, it will always drip after pouring your coffee - you would think that R&D would have done a better job to avoid any dripping. Also, lack of heating element at the bottom makes your coffee lose heat fast even if the pot is supposed to keep it hot. Aesthetically, it looks nice - I just wish functionality is at the same level. :( Please improve the App.

Sadly, that is all it offers, a super nice looking coffee maker but makes ok coffee. I'm one to enjoy a good cup of coffee that I believe to be mid range, not too dark but enough to taste the coffee and I just havent had that with this coffee maker. Tried all kinds of different coffee roast, settings, and temperatures and none to my liking. Also, I like my coffee to be hot and I feel that even at its hottest setting, it doesn't do it for me. I really wanted to like this but for the quality of coffee, I can get more with my 20 year old walmart bought coffee maker

My coffee is never hot even when it set at 205

My niece saw it and they went out and bought one. My issue—my coffee is never hot. More like lukewarm. I have it set at 205 degrees. Does anyone else have this issue? Maybe mine is defective? I bought this pot so I could hit brew from my bedroom And by the time I walked downstairs it’s ready. I’ve even taken to coming down the stairs turning it on and waiting right there. Still not hot. Not sure what to do. It was an expensive purchase.

Thank you so much for sharing your review with us. We're terribly sorry to hear that your coffee is not hot enough. We can definitely understand why that would be upsetting. The temperature setting is based on the temperature of the water when they contact the coffee grounds. The temperature will be lower in the carafe at the end of the brew. Because of this, checking the temperature with a thermometer is not an accurate way to verify temperature. Great Machine

We can have Alexa start our coffee or even our TV. The coffee maker is fast, pretty quiet, and allows you to pour coffee while it is still brewing.

Good but doesn't stay hot

I'm the kind of person that drinks a pot throughout the morning and after about a half hour after its done brewing I kept having to microwave my cup to reheat it. Not ideal.

Coffee Maker Makes Coffee Good

What can I say I like quality coffee but I’m lazy. Though not the perfect cup of coffee, it makes something consistently good which is more than what I can ask for.
