Just fired it up today and it makes great coffee with the gold setting. Looks awesome in the kitchen. The only concern is the 1 year warranty, which is less than others, but it is so good looking that it is worth a try.

Its very fast, hot and no bitterness whatsoever. Another huge plus is the carafe pours nicely with no spills. Its well worth the money.

Coffee maker would not start after 9 months

I am not sure what happened to it but it stopped brewing manually and then stopped brewing through wifi. I am so thankful for the protection plan. I am going to try again with another one because we like the wifi feature.

But that is about all it has to offer. It is hard to clean and gets grinds all over after every use. You must have it complete the full cycle before pulling out the carafe, so no auto pause. I would not recommend this product at all! When I returned it to Best Buy the girl working there told me that I was not the first to return it and complain of the same issues.

Bought this coffee pot to match our other appliances. So we knew we were over paying, but our other GE Cafe appliances work flawlessly so figured "Why not?". I'll tell you why not. From the rip, I made a pot of 10 cups, the max it says it can do..... FULL GROUNDS OVERFLOW. So I back it down to 8, same same. So I decide 6 will be fine, I've attempted to make 6 cups of coffee for 5 days in a row, and every day the grounds overflow into the carafe. For $300, I expect a coffee pot that can make specialty brews, iced coffee, individual cups, etc... I knew I wasn't getting all that when I bought this, but WOW this thing blows. 0 out of 10, won't buy again.

Posted .Hi there, thanks for taking the time to write your review. There are a few reasons as to why you may be seeing coffee grounds in your carafe. One being the use of both filters. You should only use either the gold mesh basket filter (included) or a No. 4 paper filter (not included) in the brew basket insert. The unit is designed to work with one or the other, not both. If both filter types are used, overflowing and/or splashing can occur, leaving coffee grinds/residue on the underside of the Showerhead Lid. - We recommend the use of at least a medium-grind coffee. Any finer grind than that can lead to an overflow of coffee grounds. We also recommend using the provided scoop with a flush level of grounds. Heaping scoops can lead to too much grind/coffee grounds and potentially cause overflows. We hope that this helps and that you're staying safe. -Michael@Cafe

The Best Coffee Maker

The coffee doesn’t stay warm all day but a quick warm up in the microwave is better than having a pot sit on a hot plate all day.

Very Disappointed

It does look very nice and the taste of coffee is excellent but sorry to say that coffee does NOT come out hot. I shouldn’t have to immediately microwave it for 20 seconds..My Keurig makes very hot coffee but the taste is just not there. If it wasn’t too late to return this I would.
